Check in swift and staff very kind. Hotel is just steps from the train station inside a yiny alley. so you do not need to queue for a water bus or tug your luggage along the cobblestone road the maze within Venice. Room is big and well maintained

We has a fabulous stay at The Venice Times Hotel for 2 nights. Alberto the reception manager was competent and entertaining at the same time as he introduced the various places to go in Venice, as well as answering whatever queries we have for him over the 2 days. Eldr the lady at the breakfast place was also warm and meticuolous in her work, keeping tabs on details and preferences such as how we want our daily coffee done and always keeping an eye to ensure we enjoyed our meals. The location is also superb if you come by train, just a 3 minutes’ walk away in a quiet spot where we can rest fully. Will definitelt stay at this place again the next time we are in Venice.

A lovely hotel, situated very conveniently both for transport and sights but down a peaceful side street. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast room and comfortable, well-appointed bedrooms. If you like jewellery make sure to visit the store next door. You can see the ladies making their pieces in situ - they’re both beautiful and very reasonably priced.

This review is for a 4-person suite, which might differ from other rooms. The hotel offered a spacious room and was ideally located, very close to both the train station and the ferries/boats, which made it convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was decent (7/10), offering a reasonable variety. However, there were a few issues. The first room we were given was quite noisy in the mornings, which was a bit disruptive. The mini bar was disappointing — it only contained two bottles of water (not free), and the fridge was too warm. In fact, the fridge in the first room was not only dirty but also had a bad smell, possibly due to high temperature inside. I showed the photo and video to the receptionist who was also shocked to see it in that condition. I had to clean it with alcohol myself for the night. They did move us to a different room on a higher floor which was quieter and had a better view and a cleaner fridge. Overall, the location and staff were very nice, but the mini bar and noise issues could definitely be improved.

They have several walk up rooms so make sure you ask in advance NOT to have one of these…..Unless you don’t care. If you have a pullout couch also tell them in advance to make it up since they do not have regular staff to help and they all pitch in alternating jobs to help. It is very close to train station and the cruise port for smaller ships as well as the ferry system so a good choice for our trip. The front desk was as helpful and friendly as possible with great restaurant suggestions and getting you to where you had to be. I would stay there again but would not stay in a walk up room.

VERY CLEAN and tidy, NICELY DESIGNED room & bath. QUIET. Beautiful common areas. The EXCEPTIONAL STAFF are very friendly, respectful and helpful. They make you feel welcome. RALPH made sure that we get what we want at breakfast, attentively refilling our drinks, plus gave us information on what to see, where to shop, and how to get around efficiently.
