I was very disappointed with this property. It advertised as having a 24hr front desk, which is what I wanted as a mother travelling alone with children in a new country. There was no front desk staff at all and we were told to perform a self check in two days prior to arrival. When I tried to cancel to book somewhere new with an actual front desk, they wouldn’t refund. Expedia was of no help, despite the misleading ad posted on their site. The space was tired and cramped. Staff weren’t friendly or helpful when and if you saw them. The only positive was the location: we walked to lots of spots and were able to navigate the city easily with public transport. Wouldn’t stay here again, though.

Do not stay here.

The hotel door was locked and no one was there when we arrived. The phone also didn’t work so we sat waiting for 2 hours to get inside. Room was clean but beds were uncomfortable (the sofa bed was broken) and bathroom fixtures were old and leaky.

An authentic Venitian experience. Perfect location with easy drop of by water taxi 100 meters from the hotel. Walking distance to all sites and restaurants. Antique decor in this small five room boutique hotel on one of the smaller canals with balcony and view of passing gondolas. Nice continental breakfast with Cappuccino or Cafe included. Air conditioning was not the best in room 105 but managed with a fan in the summer humidity.

Don't believe the positive reviews

I wouldn't stay here again. The hotel was reasonably clean but that is about the only positive. No one was available at reception other than upon check in. Hair dryer in the bathroom broke on the first day and requested replacement never arrived. The breakfast overall was disappointing and the milk for the cereal was sour and curdled.

This wasnt actually hard to find as I've read on previous reviews. We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel, staff were very accommodating and nice. Lovely city too! Oh the room! The room was a 3 person/3 bed room and it was decent space I thought. Very clean too. The shower was a little tight but it was clean. Good overall!

Check in went well, ushered to our room and was told no airconditioning so please open windows. Unfortunately slept with windows open and my husband got 57 mosquito bites, me only a few. Room was small but clean, bathroom mini-size. Breakfast was bland. Only cereal was Cornflakes. No fresh fruit just canned pineapple. Bread rolls were hard. Croissants okay. Meat was some man made tasteless sausage. Cheese was fine. Coffee was our resurrection because it was freshly made by the pot or by the cup. The refrigerator in our room did not work and we reported that on the morning of the second day and requested ice but was given 4 ice cubes...it was not fixed until our 3rd and last day there. I purchased ice from grocery store in order to chill our Prosecco. No bottled water was provided either. No staff on duty other than for breakfast. Would not stay there again ourselves and would find difficulty in recommending to others.

Disaster on the canal

Terrible. The worst hotel. Impossible to find and poorly marked. Absentee reception so no greeting or help whatsoever upon arrival. The WiFi was down (until I fixed the modem, just what I want to spend my time on when I’m on vacation), no AC, filthy room, refrigerator hot as an oven rude breakfast service. Absolutely awful. I may stop using hotels.com because you vend this garbage.

Great location, dreadful service

The reception wasn’t manned and the member of staff was running between two hotels, 10 minutes away from each other. We had to wait 10 minutes for someone to arrive to check in. One evening we arrived back at around 10.30 and the front door wouldn’t unlock, so we had to stand in the dark passage way outside for 10 minutes with our young daughter and it felt really unsafe, waiting for someone to come and unlock the door. The breakfast is served from 8.30am so not helpful if you need an early start and the milk was rancid. We got shouted at for sitting at a table for 4 when there were only 3 of us and made to move. The basin in our bathroom was out of action when we arrived, so had to wash hands in the shower. A plumber came but it continued to leak. 15 minutes before we were due to check out, we were phoned in our room and told to hurry up! A great central location but the service was very poor.

A key is needed to enter the building. That's Ok. But there is a 2 storey staircase to reach the units. As eighty year olds that is difficult to handle. It would be nice if the stairs were mentioned in Casa Pisani writeups. The property is well located, clean and breakfast area and food is good.
