The venue is beautiful. So was the stay. Sudha was a good host. Loved meeting Nala and Karma (dogs on the property). It’s a good place for a stay with the pet. But can improve in this aspect as well. Couple things that works well - the bathrooms are good and the water pressure and temperature regulation is good. Needs improvement - The rooms are a bit old and not exactly chargers friendly. The property should look into provided charging points near the bed and charging points that actually can hold in two pin chargers. None of the charging points works well. The AC of our room was shot. It barely worked. The manager did offer to switch rooms but it was already late into the night and we were super tired. The food menu - is minimal and sounds and looks ordinary but my word the food tasted so good. Don’t miss the food here. The views and the sounds - the view of the lake in between all the foliage from the top is beautiful. The sound of moving water against the edges and the trees and the sunsets. It is one of the most aesthetically pleasing places in the whole of Kerala. This place has definite potential. But there needs an overhaul. But yeah.. it’s working for them for now. Do visit. It is memorable.
