A peaceful oasis in a crowded city

Pros: Free breakfast, Quiet
The Gateway Ganges offers a welcome respite from the crowded chaos of Varanasi. The grounds are beautifully manicured and a dip in the pool is pure bliss against the intense heat of the midday sun. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, particularly the concierge, who helped arrange taxi service to Saranath. My room was clean and well decorated and the inclusive breakfast was the most delicious I had during a month long stay at many hotels throughout India. Get to the Gateway Ganges and you won't want to leave!
