We have been offering this vacation accommodation in Union Bay since 2019, and have hosted many happy families and friends. In 2024, our family decided to switch from a Property Management service, exclusively over to VRBO. As a result, the 38 guest reviews we accumulated prior to that could not follow our property or be displayed here on this listing. Of those 38 reviews, 34 were 5 stars. I only mention this because I understand how important it is when deciding on a vacation rental, to hear reviews from others with 1st hand experience of a place, to help with making your decision. Nice but

The front living space and master have been updated only. The queen bed in the second bedroom is a noisy and lumpy. The pillows could be replaced for the second bed as well. Master bed room pillows had no substance either.

Great house, good location

The property is clean and the kitchen has everything you need to stay in if that is what you want. The view from the living room is spectacular Union Bay is a quaint little village (maybe less than a village), but it is very close to Courtenay and food stores. Shelley was great in facilitating our stay.

Perfect home for a weekend getaway

This property was perfect for our group - The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil, tool and appliance that we needed to cook our meals. The set up of the rooms was perfect for us to have separate spaces if we wanted alone time, but still feel like we were together. We loved that we had use of the BBQ and fire pit. Everything was easy to find and I immediately knew Shelly, the wonderful host, was super experienced because everything we regularly would've needed to bring, was already there - from beach towels, to skewers for roasting marshmallows, to extra blankets. I can't express enough how much we enjoyed our time. I would definitely book this property again for a great place for a weekend getaway with friends!

Great vacation spot

This property was great for the whole family. It was a beautiful property and had everything you needed to make the stay comfortable. There was a lot to do in the surrounding area and had great views when winding down at the end of the day. Would stay here again!
