Cosy place to stay!
Lovely place to stay, tucked away nice and quiet. However, there were a lot of ants crawling on the bed. We had to spray our bug spray around the best before going to bed.

Great Stay!
Saka village is a bit remote and can not access by car, you’ll have to walk/scooter/cart about 0.2mi to the facility. WiFi was questionable, and no hot water in the shower. Now the GOOD part! Beautiful facility, the ground is very well kept with private bungalows. With strategic placement of curtains, you can have complete privacy and still benefits the beautiful views of the garden. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I’d go back!

Lovely gardens, but disappointing bathrooms
The hotel has truly amazing garden full of beautiful plants and flowers. So walking around is lovely. The rooms are also nice at first sight. But once you look closer, you find a lot of disappointing things. First of all the bathroom is rather dirty and disappointing. Mine had a smell of an animal shelter. As the bathrooms are open, they warn you in advance that there is a chance monkeys might climb in. Well my bathroom smelled like the monkeys climb in to use it as a toilet. My favorite part was the shower. The shower head could not be moved and it was aimed 1m too far from the shower area. So I had to stand outside the shower to actually be able to get myself clean. And get the bathroom even dirtier at the same time as there was no proper draining. Which kind of explains the smell... Also the towel on the floor was dirty upon my arrival and the staff did not change it later either. They just turned it around as if thats going to make the dirt disappear… The washbasin was clogged pretty bad, so water would flush so slow it left a mark every time. In the room be careful not to leave any food outside as there are a million ants everywhere. The weirdest part however was the blanket. Which was a dirty-ish looking rag that I doubt ever saw a washing machine. They also give you an extra sheet to cover yourself, so your skin would not have to actually touch the rag. Interesting solution to a weird concept. Also wifi is slow and weak like most places around Bali.

Not good for family, don't stay at this place
This is the worst hotel I have stayed in, especially considering I was staying with my wife and two kids of 9 and 10 year old. Hotel is not well maintained with bathrooms are very dirty. We had ants all over the bathroom every morning. I am not sure that was the case because of the open bath we had. Also, the entrance to the bedrooms is from outside so it's not very convenient. I would not recommend this place for families. It may be ok for couples. Also, it's not accessible by car and we had to drag out luggage inside from the road, it's few 100 meters. Although, the staff is very nice and they helped us bring out the luggage unto the main road on their bikes.

Lovely hotel tucked away from central Ubud
Stayed here for 5 nights from Saturday Nov 11 to Thursday Nov 16. Be aware it is 5 min uneven walk down an alleyway, staff will greet you on scooters and take your luggage and provide umbrellas (will probably need it). There are cafes and spas down the alleyway which are of good quality. We walked the first day into central Ubud which took a good 20 mins but because of the road conditions we continued to get a taxi. Available everywhere in decent cars and around 50.000 RPH. On first morning we overslept and they called us to ask if we would like breakfast and brought it to our room. Be aware though it is very basic - toast, butter, jam and eggs. Rice is avialable. They organised a driver to take us on a day tour and were very helpful when my friend was ill and needed a doctor late at night. Overall a pleasant stay and would stay again.
