Nice secluded cabanas

It is a very nice place still undergoing construction. We were there only for one night but really enjoyed our stay. You have to be in no hurry at all when you stay here, specially at the restaurant. The food is very good but takes a long time and breakfast is served after 9:30 am. Preferably cash and only one spot where internet conection or phone signal works.

Such an incredible place! We wished we could have stayed longer! So many beautiful waterfalls, ponds, lush gardens, majestic views of the mountains, cute palapas with hand crafted furniture, friendly staff and great food! We’ve been traveling through Mexico for years and this is been one of the nicest surprises off such a beaten path!!

La idea es buena, muy mal aplicada

Es un lugar bonito por la naturaleza, sin embargo la cabaña es nada acogedora, mucho polvo, te tratan como si te lo fueran a regalar, las camas muy incómodas, hace mucho frío, no está sellada la habitación se le mete aire por todos lados. Prácticamente no pude dormir. El peor lugar en el que me he hospedado.

Muy mal, malas condiciones, descuidado, sé que es rústico (nos quedamos en lugares así en Chiapas), pero con aspecto sucio y descuidado, mi esposa casi se electrocuta en el baño. No deberían anunciarse así, nos tuvimos que ir y no pasamos la noche. Mal.

Samen met Agua El Chiflon een must in Chiapas!

We wilden graag de watervallen van El Chiflon bezoeken en zochten een accommodatie in de buurt hier van. De recenties waren al goed en alsnog overtrof het onze verwachtingen! De weg vanaf San Cristobal -> Comitan is voor het grootste deel nieuw, ook van Comitan -> Tzimol was een gedeelte vernieuwd. Pas in Tzimol zelf werd het lastiger, we werden op google maps over een onverharde weg geleid, maar als je bij aankomst vanuit Comitan meteen (!) het dorpje inrijdt gaat het goed. De met natuurlijke materialen gebouwde lodge bevindt zich dichtbij een bron en over het hele terrein lopen waterstroompjes, het zwembad wordt er mee gevuld + de visvijver. Onze kamer, kingsizebed + prive badkamer (let op dat hebben niet alle kamers!) was groot + sfeervol. Het wordt goed schoongehouden, maar natuurlijk heb je met een rieten dak wat snippers en beestjes. De ramen moeten dicht blijven vanwege de muggen (deet mee voor als de schemering invalt), maar de klamboe was niet nodig We hebben hier 2x het ontbijt + diner gebruikt. (In het dorp is echt niets te doen) .... heeeeerlijk en genoeg keuze. (Geen cocktails) Wij gingen op een vrijdag weer weg en op het terrein waren ze druk bezig met de voorbereidingen voor het weekend want dan komen er veel dagjesmensen, maar in onze 2 dagen hebben we 2x een gezin meegemaakt. En El Chiflon ... super, mooier dan Agua Azul, nauwelijks ontdekt dus geen agressieve verkopers zoals elders in Chiapas. Rustig, natuurlijk, mooi, jammer dat we er niet wonen ;-)

Ojo con la cabaña que te asignen.

El hotel es lindo, sin embargo la cabaña que nos asignaron estaba en pésimo estado, además de alejada del resto de las instalaciones. El baño en pésimo estado. La regadera prácticamente inservible. Definitivamente NO volvería. Nos encanta estar alejados y el ruido del agua de la cascada y escuchar la naturaleza fue lo único agradable de la estancia. Falta calidad en el servicio y mejora, cuando menos en la cabaña 5.

Hotel ecoturista

Nos toco la mejor cabaña al lado de una pequeña cascada, la naturaleza por todos lados aunque separada del resto de las cabañas pero con mucha seguridad. Está alejada del pueblo y el hotel está un poco escondido, cerca de Comitan y de la cascada Velo de Novia. El restaurante no lo abren muy temprano. No hay internet ni TV y nosotros no teníamos señal en los celulares.

Un lugar perfecto en Tzimol para descansar

Quedamos 2 noches aquí, y todo estaba perfecto! El lugar es muy, muy hermoso y calmo, la habitación estaba grande y limpia, con un súper cama y agua caliente todo el tiempo, el restaurante estaba rico, la gente del lugar muy amable... 10/10 para esta experiencia! Un poco lejos del centro (15mn en mototaxi), pero por eso también esta tan calmo el lugar :)

PARA EL RELAX Y DESINTOXICACION DE LO ELECTRONICO

Agradable estancia, alejado del ruido de la ciudad, cabañas muy bonitas, instalaciones de primera, servicio de Pedrito ( recepción ) y los señores de la cocina inmejorable. la verdad muy bonita cero tv, cero internet, una desintoxicación necesaria para el cuerpo. claro que si Dios quiere he de regresar.
