Excellent air con and nice large rooms. It's nice that there is a fridge & kettle. Front desk staff not that welcoming and threatened to call security on my daughter who had brought some bottled water into the hotel 30 miniutes before we checked out. We were also charged for the water in the fridge in the room -- there is no complimentary water.

Jag mÄste tyvÀrr sÀga att min vistelse pÄ Tunis Grand Hotell var en besvikelse. FörvÀntningarna pÄ ett 5-stjÀrnigt hotell var höga, men tyvÀrr motsvarade inte hotellet dem. För det första var det uppenbart att hotellet inte höll den standard som vanligtvis förknippas med en 5-stjÀrnig anlÀggning. Det mest pÄtagliga problemet var bristen pÄ luftkonditionering. Att stÄ ut med den heta temperaturen utan möjlighet till avkylning gjorde vistelsen mycket obekvÀm. Det Àr otÀnkbart att ett hotell av denna kaliber inte kunde erbjuda grundlÀggande komfort, och det pÄverkade verkligen hela upplevelsen negativt. Utöver detta var servicen ocksÄ under förvÀntningarna. Personalen verkade inte vara sÀrskilt engagerad i att göra gÀsternas vistelse behaglig. Det fanns en brist pÄ professionell och vÀnlig attityd, vilket Àr nÄgot man förvÀntar sig pÄ ett hotell av denna nivÄ. Rummet var ocksÄ en besvikelse. Möblerna var slitna och gamla, och renheten lÀmnade mycket övrigt att önska. Att betala för ett lyxigt rum och sedan mötas av en sÄdan standard var verkligen frustrerande. Sammanfattningsvis kan jag inte rekommendera Tunis Grand Hotell baserat pÄ min erfarenhet. Det var lÄngt ifrÄn det 5-stjÀrniga hotellet det pÄstod sig vara, och bristen pÄ luftkonditionering gjorde vistelsen otroligt obekvÀm under den heta perioden. Jag hoppas verkligen att hotellet tar till sig av feedbacken och gör nödvÀndiga förbÀttringar för att förhindra att andra gÀster gÄr igenom samma besvikelse.

Good facility, but abandoned management

Nice location plus ckean and spacious room and bathroom. Price was at the high side for what we received. Staff were helpful, trying their best to catch up with our needs. The hotel is missing proper and active management, and it's very obvious from poor services across the board. Was difficult to get the safebox working, I had to ask for basics such as second bathrobe, water bottle and replacement coffee cups. Recommended to stay if your expectations are basic.

The lobby in the reception area was not airconditioned. Poor guy was sweating. It was almost 40 degrees Celsius. The hallways are not airconditioned. Bathtub plexiglass door was leaking water. Minifridge was not working... The staff were very friendly though :)
