I suppose I should begin by saying I booked my family 2 nights at the Great Wolf Lodge in WA but we left bright and early on the morning after our first night - even though I knew there was no chance of a refund for the second night. The main areas were all terribly crowded. The waterpark was even worse! It seems there is no limit to the number of people the resort will allow in on any give day. We’re talking hundreds and hundreds of people - certainly nothing like the pictures. No need to remind anyone not to run, we could hardly even walk around! No open chairs, long waits for the slides, standing room only in the pool, etc. Be sure to note that parking is not included with your hotel room cost. That’s extra (but required of course because what else will you do?). We did like our room, though! My kids liked the bunk bed situation and everything was clean. The Lodge had complimentary shampoo/body wash/lotion, and also coffee packets. We utilized the small refrigerator for a couple drinks. The bedding on the bunk beds was much too small, though, so maybe pack sleeping bags. Shout out to the front desk team who were kind and knowledgeable. They answered my questions and offered upgrades (which we didn’t want, but good job asking!). Overall, we will not return. Perhaps the overcrowded environment is some people’s idea of a good time, but not ours.

Very convenient access to everything you need (food, coffee, snacks) so that you don't have to drive anywhere. Lots of fun activities to keep the kids busy including the indoor swim pool and slides as well as an outdoor obstacle course. One thing I would change just to make it even more convenient is to keep shops open a little later and to provide delivery services (room service) where the food comes right to your door :)

We had a great time at Great Wolf Lodge! We’ve been there three times now, and each visit has been a blast. It’s extremely family-friendly and packed with activities for kids of all ages. Parking for oversized vehicles is really nice, but parking lot it tight. My only complaint is that the carpets are really dirty where the magi quest stations are. To the point that your shoes stick on the tile surfaces when you go back out to the tile. Other then this everything was great.
