Walking distance from everything in town. Manager was very nice and helpfull. Wi-fi was good, everything was clean. I stayed a week for work and it was just fine.

Could do with a reno

We overnighted in a standard Double room. The room was clean and the size was reasonable, with sufficient space to include a 2-seater lounge. The room has a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, and cutlery was included. The air conditioning unit was old but worked. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable with thin soft pillows. The bathroom was functional, but it does need an urgent upgrade. The Holbrook Hotel, about 2 blocks away, has great meals.

The stay generally went well, the room was clean and tidy. The welcome staff were pleasant and check in was promptly done. The room was appointed with crockery and utensils along with plenty of milk capsules and biscuits. I did find the mattress was well used, but was OK.

This hotel is a solid choice if you are passing through Holbrook. It's well located and the room is clean with good heating. The bedding, however, is tired - no doona, just old blankets. I think the assumption is that you will use the electric blanket. We prefer not to. We had an ok sleep, but not snug. Everything else with the room and bathroom is good. My feeling is that it's overpriced for what it offers, but many small town motels seem to charge high prices for average rooms. Still, it's a good place to stay overnight.

An old style room, the kettle wasn’t clean and the air conditioning was noisy although the room was quite spacious. Holbrook is a perfect overnight stop if traveling between Sydney and Melbourne.

We were initially given keys to a room that had not been cleaned. We were put in another room that had mould in the shower, surfaces not clean, towels and linen didn't smell clean. Staff member was pleasant however I feel the downfall is standard of cleaning.
