Wonderful extended weekend in Oro Valley / Tucson

The property is as listed. It was clean, comfortable, and included everything we needed for a family weekend. There is even an office that came in handy when worked pulled me back into the real world. The hosts were wonderful. They explained everything well, and had documentation for everything we needed.The house is north of Tucson is the emerging Oro Valley. Far enough to be away from the city, but close enough to access UofA and other parts of Tucson. And the Oro Valley has all of the restaurants, activities, and services. The views are excellent and the neighborhood is quiet. The pool is refreshing (and worth having heated). The hot tub heats up in about 15 minutes. There is ample seat outside (and inside), and the BBQ worked beautifully. There was really nothing that was not taken care of for us. There are even a few grocery stores within minutes. I know I am a bit all over the board with this review, but it really was just a fantastic and memorable stay. If and when we are back in the area, this would be the place we would book first.Thanks to the hosts!

Beautiful home!

We came to Tucson for a family wedding. the house was beautiful. It was exactly as described and VERY clean. We brought along our dog and the house worked out perfectly for him as well. The pool was super clean and heated to a perfect temperature. We had a really great stay and would definitely go again.!

Grand daughter's First Holy Communion.

Booked this beautiful home for our family to gather and celebrate our grand daughter's special day. There is a trail right next to the property, clean. The owners were very communicative. I would stay here again. Thank you for letting us make a wonderful memories at your house.

Wonderful Home!

The home was very nice. Well stocked with everything you would need, and the pool was absolutely perfect. Home was very clean, comfortable and so convenient to shopping and restaurants. We also enjoyed the access to close hiking. We enjoyed our time very much.

No need to look further - this house is great

We stayed at this property for two months this winter and were very happy with our experience. The owners were responsive and friendly. The house was clean and spacious with quality furniture in good shape. The cabinets and light/fan switches were all labeled. Very helpful. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was great for 2 mile walks. The location is ideal: close to Catalina State Park, grocery stores and restaurants. It’s a lovely home and we would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home and in Oro Valley. The house is clean, comfortable and located in a great neighborhood. We were able to walk to the dog park with our pup and take advantage of the trail right behind the house. The home is close to stores, restaurants and anything else you might need. There were so many hikes for us to choose from everyday. And a hot tub afterwards was the perfect end to the day. Our hosts, Danielle and Daryl, were wonderful. Very responsive and accommodating. We had a plumbing issue that they were extremely prompt in taking care of. They thought of small details that made the house very dog friendly. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Stay

Lovely well-maintained house in a super nice neighborhood. Feels very connected to the mountains and outdoors but also great availability of shopping, restaurants, etc. Great communication with owners. I have family in Tucson and will definitely stay here again when I come back.

Tucson Fun

We go to Tucson several times each year to hike and ride bicycles. This property is in a great location. One level is great, no stairs. The hot tub was awesome after a day of exercise.

The house was big and very clean! Danielle responded immediately to my messages and she was so incredibly thoughtful by helping me out with groceries because we arrived at midnight! I will absolutely stay again!

We really enjoyed it! Everything was thought of. Kitchen was perfectly assorted for meals at home. Very quiet and relaxing house. Loved the recliner chairs in family room. Comfy beds. Would stay again if in Tucson.

Great Stay

Our hosts, Danielle and Daryl were terrific. They communicated to us that the property was ready for early check in, which we greatly appreciated but were unable to take advantage of. Prior to our stay and during our stay our questions were answered quickly and other communication was fast. The property was clean and in a great location with grocery and restaurants very close. We had the pool heated and enjoyed it every day of our stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Tucson.

Running away from the snow

My husband, our 2 dogs , and I just did a 2 week get away. We camped our way down to Tucson and then back. We stayed at Danielle's house for 4 nights to get a break from camping. It was sooo nice. Having access to our own pool was great. The kitchen had everything you would need to stay in and cook and then again there were an abundance of restaurants close by to get out. The location was very central to hiking and mt biking in the area. We were amazed at how convenient everything was. Would love to go back again.

Lovely home, wish we had better weather…

We loved the house but wish we had more tv stations with the rainy weather we had. My friend tried to use her Netflix account but was unable to make it work. We did appreciate the board games available in the office area. My friends using the master suite didn’t like that there wasn’t a door to the bathroom. In the pool area, more chaise lounges would be appreciated. We thought it was somewhat unsafe getting in and out of the pool without any rail to hold on to.

Great location

Close to restaurants, shops, and attractions! House backs up to Naranja Park walking trail. Great bird watching in the back. Beautiful pool and comfortable hot tub. A great place to stay for a couple or a family with kids. Plenty of games for all. Would stay here again!

Don't hesitate, just book it!

Everything was great! The house is well appointed and very clean. We honestly can't think of a thing that was missed. Kitchen items, extra blankets, games, pool toys...it is all there! Location is fantastic. Nice quiet neighborhood. Close to Catalina State park, Oro Valley shopping and restaurants. Very responsive hosts too. We wouldn't hesitate to book again for the next family get together. Thanks again!

Nice House in a Great Location

Patrick and Danielle's property is a well-maintained home in a nice neighborhood in Oro Valley (which is the newer part of Tucson). It is conveniently located with easy access to restaurants, grocery and convenience stores, and recreation, including several challenging golf courses. The dog friendly backyard is very private and, although we did not take advantage of them during our stay, the home includes a lot of amenities such as a heated pool and jacuzzi. We did use the Weber grill on several occasions and it worked great. The neighborhood is safe and relatively quiet with lots of friendly people who never hesitate to waive and say hi while walking the dog. Patrick and Danielle are very gracious hosts who are easily reachable to answer any questions and to attend to any issues that might arise. We are relatively new "snowbirds" seeking to get out of the cold Colorado winter for a few weeks each year. We are still in the process of trying out different warmer weather retreats. Should our "snowbirding" bring us back to Tucson in the future (which is highly likely), we would definitely consider staying at our "home away from home in the sunshine" again.

Fantastic Stay in Oro Valley

We loved this house. It was in perfect condition. Great community to go walking around and very close to hiking trails and golf courses. We have stayed in other places in the area, and we tend to be a bit critical. No complaints here - of particular note were the spa and pool. They are best we've ever encountered - clean and well maintained. The heated spa (already included in the rent) was a nightly treat after hiking or playing a round of golf. The spacious backyard with nice patio furniture does face away from the mountains and has a limited view, but we knew that when we rented. Given everything else about the property this is definitely a place we would rent again! Excellent price.

Beautiful home in ideal location Oro Valley

Clean, comfortable, well stocked & maintained, nicely decorated, excellent location, lovely back yard patio with pool and hot tub…I recommend this home for any type of group.There is plenty of room to enjoy time together and find some quiet space. Easy to hop on the extensive Tucson bike trail system and close to hiking and sightseeing. My only suggestion world be privacy window treatments on back patio doors and living room. We hope to stay here again next year!

Nice home

Short stay for parents weekend.. lovely home, everything you need, homeowners were very responsive and helpful if and when I had a small issue… immediate response..much appreciated.. a bit longer commute than expected but worth it.. Felt like home… we made it a girl trip to visit my daughter, only suggestion.. more mirrors in the home, when both bathrooms are occupied difficult for 3rd and 4th guest to get ready..would absolutely stay here again.
