Lovely stay in Cornwall in winter.
Lovely stay in Cornwall in winter. Some winter storms meant we did stay in the house a bit more than planned, but it was cool and comfy place to hang out. The house is well thought out and well built with lovely tall ceilings, a spacious downstairs living/dining area and all the kit you need in the kitchen. I can imagine the complex might be a bit busy in the summer, but that's Cornwall - it's so beautiful you aren't going to have it to yourself in Summer. Porthtowan is small enough that it probably naturally limits how busy things get though.Location wise, it was lovely to be able to pop to the beach or up on to the coastal/moorland paths. We did some nice walks over to St Agnes with its cool cafes. I did one of the Arc of Attrition races and this was a perfect base for that as it was only a short drive away (and if you could face it, then really it would be an okay walk there - probably not so fun on the way back, lol).
