Great Spot for 2 + Dog

The studio apartment was clean and comfortable for 2 adults, and had all the amenities for a great 3-day weekend. Private covered parking was easy, and the unit was conveniently located in the Northstar Village. We walked everywhere - skiing, dining, shopping, etc.

Overall the studio was very nice and the village area is gorgeous. This would be a 9 or even 10 out of 10 if it had air conditioning because it does get very hot and you simply cannot be in the room during the day with the portable fan the room has. We went in the summer so this will be a non-issue in the winter. A kitchenette would also be nice to have. Pros: -The studio is very clean with a lot of essentials provided. -Comfortable bed and pillows. -The village is beautiful with nice restaurants, coffee, skating ring, a great swimming pool, etc. -Personal parking space that is covered, so the car doesn't get hot in the summer. Cons: -The room gets very hot during the day starting in the morning and the room has no dedicated air conditioner, just one of the portable ones. My wife tried to take a nap during the day and simply couldn't because of the heat. At night it gets better if you open the window and sliding door, otherwise it is really hot also, even with the portable fan that is provided. -The property manager takes very long to respond. -Takes a good 10 minutes to get to the lake. -No broom. -No kitchenette.
