I WANT TO START... by saying that the host company helped with a lot via quick online communications, which was SUPER helpful. However I heard from them afterwards that I would receive a 50 gift card if I gave them a five star review, and I just can't sell my honesty like that, so I deducted my overall experience to 3 stars.THE GOOD: The house was big, and street was quiet, and forest backyard was simply amazing. The fully stocked large kitchen helped me as I have celiacs and can't eat out much. The deck is great for star gazing. The kids area is fully stocked with toys and books, the kids beds have giant stuffed bears! And my child loved the wooden bear at the entrance. Newish kitchen appliances! Full size washer and dryer was so helpful. It's VERY family focused!!THE BAD: Overall cleanliness wasn't great, beer caps scattered under carpets, couches, outside. Other trash found in garage, and under one sofa. There was what appeared to be dog barf under the other couch. There was mouse POOP in one of the kitchen drawers. They need better house cleaners. The big bummer was that the sliding glass doors unlocked with the slightest tap/jiggle and if you're scared about people entering the house at night, then it's not for you. If you're worried about your kids getting out, one door has a dowel but it's too short, and young kids could leave the house if they wanted. They need new/better back doors/locks. I hope they can use this feedback to further improve their nice place.
