Property itself was fine. Beds are comfy, area is quiet. Check in info was sent ahead of check in as expected. 2 areas of warning: 1. Steps to door are a bit uneven/steep so don't stay here if you're not able to climb that 2. The harassment with this third party website, Superhog, was a complete nightmare! The day before check in we were bombarded with incessant texts and emails from this property demanding I undergo an identity verification with a 3rd party site, Superhog, if we wanted to keep our reservation. Superhog wanted my name, address, birthdate, a photo for facial recognition, my drivers license. This is a huge privacy violation. The communications we received demanding we turn this info over threatened to last minute cancel our already paid in full reservation if we did not comply. I called hotels.com who assured me this property has no right to demand we provide all this info or cancel a prepaid reservation. So if you do book this property you can ignore the messages about Superhog, but being threatened/harassed for personal information all day right before my trip is a very poor customer experience. When I demanded Superhog delete my info and stop contacting me they refused to do so and said they needed 14 days to comply and permission from the property. This is actually a violation of consumer privacy law in California, where the property is & where I live. I filed a complaint with the state about Superhog because of this.
