Fantastic Stay
Selfishly, I hate doing reviews because if the place gets too popular I won't be able to book it again - haha. Seriously though, this place was a great value and the host made everything perfect. He was extremely responsive and even checked in with a text to make sure everything was good. Really could tell that a professional designer was involved to decorate the home with an amazing eye for detail - kudos to whoever did the decorating. Overall great experience and will look forward to staying again (if it's available). :-)

Beautiful house minutes from old-town Truckee
Our family of 4 and my brother-in-law’s family of 4 greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The beds are very comfortable, the bedding is nice and new, the furniture is new and nice, the kitchen is well-appointed, and we loved the hot tub on the deck. The house also has a beautiful large fenced in backyard. Our kids had a lot of fun building a snow fort outside. The layout of the house is very nice. The room with the pull-out couch feels somewhat connected to the adjoining bedroom with a queen bed and a single bed, so those two rooms work well for a family of 4 or for all the kids to pile onto (if your group is big enough to need to use the pull out couch). The owner is responsive and easy to communicate with. We loved our stay here and will be back!

Among the best homes I’ve stayed at.
The property is amazing. The kitchen is well-stocked with all you need to cook any meal. The bathrooms are nice with very spacious showers. The beds are comfortable with varying pillow firmnesses. The outdoor space is fantastic with great seating to relax and enjoy the mountain air. Although it’s in a residential neighborhood it felt isolated. It’s among the best homes I’ve stayed at in my travels.

I stayed here with family for a few days and was not disappointed. The house looks exactly like the pictures but the views are better. The place was clean and in a great location. Communication with the owner was great. My stay took place during a big storm and the owner kept me updated on the weather conditions which was greatly appreciated! I would definitely stay here again.
