The staff was very accommodating. The bathroom not so much. There were long coarse black hairs all over the floor and hairs also on the walls in the shower area. The bed linens were fresh and clean and the floor also. There were a couple old soap wrappers under the desk.

Would not recommend hotel. Notified front desk of issues with room and requested Samantha (manager) contact me twice. Did not hear back. Room had stink bugs, smelled musty, coffee pot broken, shower faucet broken, unable to use phone (jack was completely pulled out of wall). Spoke with front desk and they were not helpful in resolving any of the issues. When I followed up at checkout, the front desk told me the manager said she offered to move me to another room and that they had a long list of customers who had to be moved to other rooms. The manager did not follow up with me nor offer to move to another room.

We were surprised that when we came to check in around 8pm the front desk radio'd housekeeping to see if they were done with our room. They were; so we were checked in. However, they were still working on the 2nd room we booked. Luckily they kept us side-by-side as requested, but odd nonetheless at that late check-in time. So we ended up walking around the wet floor once we got into the room. The AC was terrific. Loud and constant and cool. The rooms looked updated with wood(ish) floors and updated beds. They were pretty comfortable; a little firm. The showers looked pretty lived-in. But it all seemed pretty clean for the night we stayed. Cannot speak to the buffet, but they did have flavored creamers for coffee. Outside porches were well-lit.

The lady who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The condition of this hotel however is pretty bad. I know it is an old building but it has a very bad smell black mold in the bathroom and idk if I was allergic to something or what but I was broken out in hives and itchy so bad I finally couldn’t take it anymore and left after SIX hours. The pool is really nice though.

The room smelled of urine and pine cleaner combined. The toilet wouldn't flush completely. There was a gap under the door that allowed critters to get into the room.

I waited over 15 minutes to check in because there was no one at the desk.The tub was filthy and stained, the hotel is old and could use some upgrades. The bed squeaked every time I turned. The breakfast was limited. I would not recommend.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The pool is clean and well-kept, and the area feels safe and quiet, making it easy to rest. What could be better: The property is showing some age and could use updates, especially in the rooms and common areas. Breakfast options are basic, and Wi-Fi speed can be inconsistent. Summary: A solid choice for short stays in Troy with great service, a nice pool, and a convenient location.
