Great location in the city center. Breakfast was great. Room was very small. The bathroom was small but had great water pressure in the shower. Towels need to be upgraded and washcloths should be provided. And they did not provide extra pillows if you need more than one.

Awful and expensive

Holes in the roof, dust everywhere, gravel and dirt on the floor. Window view directly to the hallway with 0 sound isolation. Could hear everything my neighbour did in the bathroom. By far my worst hotel experience ever.

A nice hotel with nicer service.

The staff here was very helpful and friendly every time I came by with a question. The location in Tromsø is unbeatable. You can walk anywhere in the city center within 10 minutes or less. The room itself is a little worn and plain for the price you are paying, but everything else about the hotel made up for it. The lobby area is a nice place to sit and relax at and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, I loved my stay here.

Family trip with 4 adults

We stayed in a family room of 4. Room was small but sufficient and warm. Bunk bed was comfortable and sturdy enough so top bunk did not shake when bottom bunk moved. Hotel was very conveniently located, very easy to get to/from Airport using 42 public bus. Also about a 3-5 minute walk from all the pick up spots for our excursions. Breakfast was delicious.

We booked a family room (2 bunk beds 2 other beds) well in advance of our trip. The first room we were given had 1 double bed. We returned to the front desk and were told we should have moved the furniture. We asked for a room with 2 beds and were reassigned to a second room. It also had 1 bed with one mattress, making it impossible to move the furniture and create 2 beds. We returned to the front desk, and after being told sharing a bed was “better than sleeping outside,” we suggested the hotel associate provide us with a second room. The second room was a single, the lowest category available. It was a sad and dismal space but it was 1:00 am at that point, so we cut our losses and went to sleep. The included breakfast was good with lots of variety.

A little too hot in Tromso

Nice hotel however, even with the window ppenduring cold and wet weather and the heater turned off, we were unable to regulate the temperature of our room and it was too hot to sleep comfortably during our 4 night stay. In addition, the single beds were very soft and difficult to adjust to for those of us used to firmer mattresses. The mitigating factor of course was that this was one of the less expensive hotels in Tromso with rooms including three beds. The breakfasts were extensive and of high quality.

Lovely stay at Quality Hotel Saga. Hotel is in a perfect location, walkable to most parts of the centre of Tromso. Room was a little basic but fine for our needs. Breakfast lovely with good choice and all staff were very helpful. Would recommend.

I personally enjoyed our 1 night stay. It is centrally located clean and safe. The staff were great and very professional. Easy walk to the port area. Shopping nearby too. 300nok from the airport via uber. Worth a stay and I would not hesitate to return. Lovely and thank you to the hotel staff too.

Quality Hotel SAGA had a clean room, lots of outlets, rooms were a nice size, staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was free bountiful and delicious. Hotel was close to all tours and lots of restaurants. We had a fabulous stay!
