Our stay was wonderful! The location of this home is excellent with breath taking views of the lake. It was perfectly situated and very roomy. We had everything we needed and our host Debora was wonderful and the owner was very accommodating! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were there for my daughter’s wedding and this location made it for a perfect stay. Highlight of our trip! Our favorite town was definitely Bellagio!

Beautiful home, great accommodations, roomy clean well equipped. Beautiful views of the Lake. Parking garage with elevator to all floors added to convenience. Kitchen easy to prepare food, property manager was excellent, responsive, always available, knowledgeable, and happy with a lovely smile. Short ride to groceries, pharmacies, ferry terminals, restaurants Would recommend and return without reservation

We had such an amazing stay - Debora was an angel, so responsive and went out of her way to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We were staying for our wedding and we even came home to balloons and a card afterwards - so appreciated. The house comfortably housed 11 adults and 2 children, plenty of space. Can’t wait to come back.

The Villa was well stocked and plenty of space to lounge. It has an amazing view from the deck! Also a large two car garage, which seems to be rare in Como. The road out front is busy and tricky to navigate but there are mirrors on the street to view the traffic and traffic guards to help. It was a 5 minute walk to boat dock and I would highly recommend the classic wood boat tour. The host, Debora, was always available and willing to help and arranged many things on a short notice during our stay. She single handedly made our trip a success!

Perfect vacation home

Our stay at Villa Comancina was absolutely heavenly. The villa was so clean and well supplied. The living area floor had a stunning 180 degree view of the lake that you could enjoy from the patio, as well as from inside. However, what really made our stay spectacular was the warm welcome and prompt responsiveness from the house manager Debora. Even before we got there, Debora not only helped answer general questions that I had, but she also provided suggestions for activities for us to do that really made our vacation feel extra special and unforgettable. Specifically, she helped arrange a private boat tour of the lake (1 hr, 2 hr, 3 hr options) and kindly helped to arrange for pizza delivery the same evening because she knew we'd be getting back from the tour late in the evening. She connected us with a wonderful local chef who came to the villa itself and cooked from scratch a spectacular full course Italian dinner, including charcuterie, risotto with parmesan cheese and pork sausage, italian meat balls with rosemary potatoes, and chocolate marquise cake. She also arranged for us to have a private wine tasting in the comfort of the villa, and we even had the option to have private massages. (Note, most of the activities were cash pay; so worth it!!). Debora was so caring, she even helped ship me clothes that I had forgotten in the dryer after we had left! I am so very thankful that we found Villa Comancina and would 100% recommend this home to anyone!

Wonderful villa for big family

We loved our stay. The villa has everything you’d need: sauna, hot tub, table tennis, games, and lots of extra space, towels and bedding. The kitchen was well stocked. The property manager was very responsive and extra helpful when we had questions. She even met us at the property and gave us local recommendations. Great place to stay with a large group.

Beautiful view, spacious villa will not disappoint.

The previous review from Tony C is completely accurate. 4 min drive to Leno 7 ferry (or 25 min walk). Good restaurants nearby, small market, bakery liquor store in Lenno convenient. The Villa Comacina was a perfect fit for our first visit to Lake Como. The description is accurate - super clean, kitchen fully equipped, and more space than we expected for our group of 7; 2 couples, 3 singles to relax, enjoy Lake Como and soak in the views. We stayed 6 nights. We too were most impressed with the host Kim/Alex and especially their property manager Maria who went the extra mile functioning as a concierge to navigate us through our stay in Italy. I’ve never had this experience before in a VRBO. Traveling with a group takes planning and right from the start when we had questions, through WhatsApp or in person, Maria made her available to answer any questions about cooking class, restaurant, ferry info, restaurant reservation, groceries and much more. Always positive and cheery in person or texting, she work hard to make our stay enjoyable and it was. I highly recommend and would come back.

Great location and service

This is a great location in the central lake area. Close enough to to more touristy areas, but more like a local neighborhood. Near to the Lenno boat which has regular service in central lake area. We had 9 adults, 3 couples and 3 singles, and more than enough room for everyone (singles had their own room) Four floors, with parking and sauna room at street level (basement) with an elevator. Pretty sound proof between the rooms and hall areas. Beautiful view from the patio off of the living area. I was perhaps most impressed with the service. The local hosts/managers were like having a personal concierge service. Debra checked in with me everyday to see if there was anything we needed and offered recommendations and assistance with things like reservations. The day we all went to Villa Balbianello we realized the hike to the villa was physically too much for one us and didn't want him to hike back. However the boat service to the villa wasn't running that day due to mechanical issues. I contacted Debra on WhatsApp to see if we could get a cab for at least our friend. She had been out in Lenno walking her dog, but she got us a 10 passenger van, then walked all the way up to the villa ticket entrance to meet us and work with staff to get the gate at the bottom open for the van. I can't express how impressed we were. The one recommendation I would have, (not a slight on this particular place, but something in general), get smallest vehicles that will suffice.
