Etna Base

The property was lovely and felt very secure with the gated parking, and the owners are very friendly and welcoming even when we arrived at about midnight. The living space is very compact but the bedrooms are generous and two bathrooms really made a difference. The outside space and swimming pool are really lovely. The location is great for exploring the area between Catania and Taormina and further afield, and it was a very easy drive to Refugio Sapienza for hikes or alternatives up Etna. We had a really good holiday at Trecastagni.
