A Nice Surprise
My wife and I just spent 5 days at Red Timbers. It was one of the nicest homes we've stayed in and excellently appointed and stocked. The location is 10 minutes from Traverse City but overall the location is perfect to explore all of Leelanau County; Suttons Bay, Leland, Glenn Arbor, Sleeping Bear sand dunes, and the Pearce Stocking drive. The master bed was incredibly comfortable to sleep on and that is something I am a real stickler about. We lived in Traverse City for over 20 years and know the area extremely well. That being said, we will stay here again given what we felt was it's perfect location and great home.

Family vacation
It was a nice vacation home. The home was a bit out of traverse city but easy to get around. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Having to remove sheets and start load of towels as more than I have done in past at vrbo homes.

Great home for our family vacation!
Everything was great - we’ve been coming to TC annually for 5 or 6 years now, and this house had everything our family of 5 (plus a dog) needed! We often stay at new properties each year, but we will definitely come back to this one!

Love the red house !
We attended a family wedding near Sutton’s Bay and the house suited our needs perfectly. 10 minutes from Traverse City too. We found Brengman Winery close by…. a new favorite! Loved the neighborhood too.

Snow Shoe race weekend
The house is gorgeous and plenty of space for 3 adults and the dog. Location is great, there is so much to do in the area. bonus - parking space in the garage, especially with the snow overnight both nights. Driveway wasn't plowed but we drove Jeeps, shoveled the walk to the house ourselves. No biggie. overall 5 stars, my Beagle was totally relaxed too!

Enchanting
Exactly as described, this propriety was both cozy and spacious, well-appointed without being too fussy. We ate, slept and celebrated well here. Will definitely return if we’re ever back this way.

Quiet and cozy, only 15 minutes from Traverse City
Red Timbers sits in a lovely little neighborhood with no through traffic only 15 minutes from Traverse City. The pictures do the accommodation justice, with all being as anticipated as we arrived. Very clean with good quality linens and towels. The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with utensils and had a small cache of 'left over' coffee and spices to avoid a trip to the market for small purchases. Though it is 'mentioned by omission', note that you'll have to bring your own bath soap and shampoo. Not a big deal - everything else you need is there. We will consider this property again on our next trip to the region.
