Great property to stay a couple of days.

Very well appointed inside, room was clean and very comfortable. Grounds are a nice size and comfortable to walk around. No having to go out to the street and deal with reaffic. Really enjoyed the pool area also; not a primary reason for staying, we found it a great place to relax. Breakfast was a treat as well.

Beautiful country setting! Further from Santarem than we expected but very kind and helpful people owner who directed us to some adventures in Tomar! Beds were very comfortable and bedding was crisp n white - very clean. Cute little balcony facing the mountains. Best decision for a base for exploring Portugal. Fast access to everywhere (Golega, Tomar, Santarem), without headaches of city driving. Travel is hard, and for me, having a place where everything "just works," is the most valuable thing on a trip. Well executed simplicity beats fancy every time, and this was the effect of the fantastic attention to detail by the staff.
