Hummingbird Cottage is a very clean, well appointed home that had plenty of space for our party of four adults. Although we didn't cook any meals, the kitchen has everything you would need to prepare your meals. The home is located across from Chesterman Beach, with the beach access conveniently located only a few feet away.The neighbourhood was relatively quiet during our stay, though we could see it being more noisy and busy during peak season. The host Vivienne was good to deal with, from the booking stage to check out time. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this place.

This was an awesome spot! So close to Chesterman beach and a short 5km drvie/run/bike from Tofino. Very clean, very comfortable. All the amenities of home. Highly recommended.

Fantastic time in Tofino

We were 3 couples visiting Tofino for the first time. We had a fantastic visit. Vivienne was a great host and her place was perfect for us. It was a great location - very close to Chesterman beach. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Family bonding

From start to finish of our amazing rejuvenating family vacation Vivienne was nothing but supportive, helpful, kind and a gracious host! The expression of life “it’s all in the little details” is the embodiment of our stay- Vivienne made sure we had everything we needed and just goes above and beyond for our stay! We loved it so much and our kids (11,9 and 5) want to go back next year. We will be sure to book here again!

Wonderful stay

A beautifully presented property, with everything you need for your time in Tofino. The home is cozy and spacious and is nestled in a wonderful location steps from the beach and 10 min walk to coffee. Vivienne is a great host, excellent communication and very warm and friendly, ensuring our stay was perfect. Highly recommended.

Bright, Lovely, and Perfectly Maintained

The owner puts a lot of care into this property. The grounds are well taken care of. The inside is immaculately clean, bright, and well stocked with all the comforts of home. It is a very short walk to the beach, or to the Wickaninnish if you crave a fancy dinner or cocktail. Defiantly, a property worth staying at if you are looking for something on Chesterman Beach.

Fantastic Vacation

My family and I stayed at Tofino Hummingbird Cottage over Thanksgiving, and we had an incredible time. The location is perfect, the cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for 6 people. Enjoyed running on Chesterman beach and surfing on Cox beach. Definitely recommend this property!

Outstanding Home on Chesterman Beach

This beautiful home was absolutely lovely and comfortable. It is a two minute walk ti the beach. If you like to cook this kitchen is well equipped with high quality appliances and kitchen tools. This appealed to the foodies in the group who don't like to eat out every might. The house is tastefully decorated with west coast elements. The beds are comfortable and the linens and towels are fine quality. Vivienne is a lovely and attentive host. We loved staying here.

Hummingbird Cottage

The property was great. Very comfortable with everything we needed. A quick walk down a pathway to beautiful Chesterman Beach. A short walk to several restaurants. Property owner was very communicative and easy to deal with. I highly recommend the place.

Perfect Getaway

This is the most picturesque little getaway, just steps from the beach! Love the coziness, layout and location. Couldn’t ask for a better location! Vivienne was lovely to deal with. Couldn’t recommend this place more!
