Don't miss the chance to visit the magnificent St Magnus Cathedral, the Earls and Bishops Palaces and the Orkney Museum to learn about the island’s fascinating past. Explore historic sites such as the ancient village of Skara Brae (22 miles), the standing stones of the Ring of Brodgar (17 miles) and the Broch of Gurness (12 miles). The dramatic Churchill Barriers (5 miles) and the beautifully decorated Italian Chapel (5.5 miles) are also must-sees.
