The staff were superb, at the reception as well as the restaurant. They really enhanced my experience. I was upgraded when I arrived. I was helped with my many requests to book a bus to another city, explore the city centre, make recommendations for dinner, etc. The room was very comfortable, making my stay enjoyable.

Not easily accessible to transport and tourist spots, always needed to use a taxi which was expensive. Hotel service wasn’t great, asides from the receptionist Elvira who was very helpful and the lady at breakfast. House keeping didn’t clean the room throughout our stay even though we asked for it, they only made the bed when we were out once, left the dishes and wouldn’t bring toilet paper. I had to ring reception to actually beg for it. The day we got into the room, it was even a half roll of tissue that the previous occupier left that was there for us to use. Not great service at all

I like the neatness of the hotel, its close proximity to the airport and the city centre. The staff were quite friendly and are ready to help out with anything. The breakfast options are great as well! It’s definitely a good value for money.

The room was not cleaned for two days, it was useless to remind them about cleaning the room. Water is only given in 0.5l small bottles once a day, asking for additional bottles is useless and paid. At the hotel, the employee at breakfast is so intrusive, does not allow you to sit down and eat normally, does not allow you to choose a dish normally, she just climbs into the plate every minute, runs and attracts additional attention to herself, a very unpleasant person. I felt as if I was eating in prison, and this employee does not allow you to relax and have a snack. She constantly talks loudly, very annoying!

I had an excellent stay at the Mercure Hotel in Tirana. The hotel is beautifully designed, comfortable, and very welcoming. Special thanks to Antonella, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable—she was incredibly helpful, and full of great recommendations. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Tirana!
