DECEPCION

Bien ubicado.

Pleasant surprise!

We loved our stay at Refugio del Pintor. We were pleasantly surprised by the interior setting as the outside of the hotel didn’t look like much. Very tasteful decor good healthy breakfast and clean comfortable rooms. Location is a bit far from the center of town and restaurants but if you have a car or don’t mind walking this hotel is a good choice. Good central place to visit all the sights around The area!

Nice Place In Tilcara

Everything was clean and tidy, bedrooms were small but adequate, plumbing left a little bit to be desired, but for an old converted house it was ok. Breakfast was not so great though with sour milk and a very limited number of choices.Owner was very pleasant and helpful. One last thing we found that we could not use any credit card ( none out of our party worked) despite the owner turning the machine on and off etc., in the end we paid with USD, so it was ok.
