I’ve stayed here before and I have always enjoyed my stay! This last time was a little less pleasant. The staff wasn’t as friendly as they normally are. My friend and I went to the bar at the resort multiple times and each time we went we waited like 10/15 min before we were greeted/acknowledged. One of the mornings I had coffee there and there was a lot of grounds at the bottom of my cup. It was gross. The only thing that saved this trip is the location of the resort… the views are absolutely amazing here.

Complimentary breakfast was awesome as was the property itself. Great location as far as the views. The neighborhood was a bit seedy. Internet was fine as was the bed. Our room was a bit sparse as far as amenities. The overall vibe & the sea views cured all ills. It’s a mom & pop shop & they’re well staffed & they care. I’d go back!

We had a great time staying at Hotel Castillos Del Mar. Our room had a patio with access to the back of the hotel with a great view. The only thing I would suggest them to do is update their locks on their doors. They seem old and outdated as well as their patio doors.

I checked in and there wasn’t towels, hand soap,shampoo, not fridge, the ac worked but didn’t have a remote, lobby lend me theirs, bed was very uncomfortable also they stated that have beach access that’s a lie we have to look around to have access. First and last I stayed there with my family.

Don’t be fooled by the photos. The room was dirty — the carpet clearly hadn’t been vacuumed, and the towels in the bathroom were old and still damp. The chain lock on the door was also missing, which felt unsafe. The pool area was not inviting at all, and the service at the restaurant was unprofessional and severely understaffed. Overall, a disappointing experience

Loved the beach amenities like hammocks and beach side food and drink. Love that yoga is available on the weekend but needs to be promoted or advertised better. Felt like I was in a mini resort. Don't like the location of the pool in the parking lot. Room amenities were not great. Not enough towels, no hangers in closet, and 1st floor room can hear everything going on upstairs. Propert is very clean and well kept. Love the staff at reception and the restaurant. Will come back again for sure!
