El Lomito, Spain

El Lomito looks back on a long family tradition. The owner was born in this house and spent his childhood there. In the late 90s, when tourism in La Palma found its way, the house has been completely restored. The large bright hallway with large windows to the terrace was retrofitted and connects all the rooms together. Distinctive in every room is the dark Canarian wooden roof, this creates a cozy atmosphere. In winter, a split unit and a potent electric heater for pleasant temperatures make.   The terrace is in front of the house. Already in the morning the first sunrays reach the terrace, so you can also have breakfast outside. Around the pool a plateau was built, a small lawn area also offers Lying area in the countryside. Something separately on a promontory overlooking the sea, is a comfortable rattan. You can end the day with a glass of wine.   The garden is terraced with fruit and avocado trees and carefully tended plants. At the lowest level you have uninterrupted views across the canyon to the sea. Under a palm tree, a stone table and bench offers a place to relax.   The barbecue is under a ledge with an adjacent "Bodega", an original preserved cave. This is much appreciated by guests, because here winter and summer temperatures are pleasant.  Bedrooms and living rooms are acoustically isolated from each other, not because the partition to the pointed wooden roof was deliberately not drawn. The living area features a reading corner and a small desk. Both the bed and the chair can be used as a bed for a child be accompanying.   The adjoining kitchen is well equipped and from the kitchen window you can enjoy the view of the sea.   The bathroom has a shower tray, here is also the washing machine into place.

El Lomito, a memorable place with charming history. The little house is located in a secluded location directly on a small ravine on the outskirts of Tijarafe. A small pool with terrace and a terraced garden offer all the comforts for a relaxing holiday in the middle of nature.
