Very nice renovation of old motel with great decorating. Fixtures, doors, furniture very nice and functional. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Room and property very clean. Room quiet except for when train goes through town. Signage is poor and it is not clear were to park to check in and unload. The area for this has bad traffic flow. Parking long term is across the street in fenced lot that is easy access. Breakfast was petrified eggs soupy oatmeal and no fresh coffee. Location great for walking to lakefront or downtown to restaurants.

The unique decor is neat! The hotel could use a bit of a cleaning in some spots. (There was a spider web in our light, air conditioner filter, some dust on ledges in the bathroom) but overall good. The breakfast is fine. We liked that the parking lot is closed and locked at night.

It’s a nice stay for just passing by the city. The room needs better layout. The bed needs to be away from the bathroom to avoid the sounds and the smell when others using it. Hotels needs cleaner towels.

Hotel is really nice! But the ares surrounding isnt great. Working harbor with train cars, run down area, small homeless issue. Short walk to restaurants but didn’t feel super safe.

The hotel and staff were great. I did not like the location; it seemed to be a dubious area of the city, run down buildings near by, an altercation of some sort at the McDonalds next door which brought ambulance , first responders and police.

I was expecting a little more from this hotel. Only one person was on the desk and it was busy. The rooms were small and the door on the bathroom was a sliding barn door, which provided very little privacy.
