What is Sequoia Sanctuary?
A Private, Design-Forward Basecamp Near Sequoia National Park.

It’s a place to reset between hikes, wake up to silence, and return to a space that feels intentionally maintained.

Cleanliness Standard
This is a shoeless home. We maintain a consistently clean, allergen-conscious environment using:

Professional cleaning + steam sanitation

August 1 – April 30: Discounted/off-season rates do not automatically include hot tub access.

To qualify for included hot tub access during this period, the nightly base rate must average at least $299/night BEFORE taxes, fees, discounts, or cleaning fees.

Reservations booked below $299/night may add hot tub access for a flat $199 amenity fee.

Hot tub servicing must be confirmed at least 48 hours before check-in.

Designed for Multi-Day Exploration (3–4 Nights Recommended)
Many guests underestimate how much there is to see beyond the main entrance.

We provide:
A fully curated digital map with routes, hidden spots, and timing strategies

Suggested 3–4 day itineraries (Sequoia + Kings Canyon + Mineral King)

This makes Sequoia Sanctuary an ideal base for travelers and planners who prefer structure without stress.

International Travelers
Many of our guests visit from abroad and use Sequoia Sanctuary as a base for exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon over several days.

We provide a fully curated digital map with routes, timing strategies, and key stops so you can navigate the park efficiently without guesswork.

A Note on Value
Sequoia Sanctuary is intentionally designed for guests who value a clean, private, and thoughtfully maintained space after long days exploring the park.

Rather than maximizing occupancy, we focus on providing a consistent, well-cared-for environment. Something many guests find makes a meaningful difference in how restorative their stay feels.

Crystal Cave has reopened after a 4-year closure. Tickets sell out fast (we provide booking info + insider tips after you reserve).

Why Spring & Fall Are the Best Times to Visit
These are our favorite seasons!! And when experienced travelers tend to visit:

Spring
Waterfalls at peak flow
Wildflowers + wildlife
Ideal white water rafting conditions

Fall
Crisp air, golden light
Fewer crowds, better access
Perfect hiking temperatures

If you prefer space, calm, and optimal conditions, these seasons consistently outperform summer.
