La cabaña ha sido diseñada profesionalmente con una decoración luminosa y moderna con un toque moderno. Los niños y los adultos disfrutarán subiendo la escalera del 'muelle' hasta el cómodo altillo que mide 6 'de altura en el medio. El loft cuenta con tres camas individuales, televisión, DVD y sistema de juegos GameCube.

Great Family Getaway

The house worked great for our short family vacation. Our kids loved the kid sized sleep loft and lots of room to play outside. Kelly was a great host.

The property was not real clean. We had 10 adults. Many over six feet. Not easy to climb up to the attic room for the 3 twin beds. No fitted sheets for pullout bed. Pillows stained. Floors were dirty. I would list it for 6 adults sleeping comfortable. The ladder also didn’t seem very safe going into the attic.

Rustic with a side of charm

This cottage was exactly what e needed and was just a described. W also enjoyed the small town as we visited the Thrift Store icecream shop and the Bicycle Museum. Would definitely booked in the future.

Traditional Cottage Experience with Modern Amenities

Loved the decor! Slightly funky, with a nod to the past. Favorite areas of the cottage were the dining room, back porch room, and the front porch. First floor bath is beautiful! Despite instructions, I struggled with the Aga stove and oven. Location is ideal!

Wonderful weekend in Three Oaks!

Kelly was wonderful updating me on the weather before we came into town. The home was cozy with lots of space for a family of 5. Our 3 kiddos loved the loft room and we enjoyed taking walks and playing board games. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautifully renovated farmhouse in a very quiet neighborhood

It was perfect. Loved the renovations and the rustic aspects of the house they were able to keep. Plenty of space, had everything we needed. Nice huge side yard with tons of privacy.

Perfect for our multi-family dunes trip.

This house is tucked into the most charming neighborhood. Every morning and evening I walked my dog and admired the homes and their classic gardens. The children loved the loft bedroom with the ladder and the yard was perfect for running around. Really enjoyed having the whole family around the big farm table for meals we prepared on the AGA stove. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I usually bring extra things along like sheets and towels, but this house was fully stocked. Even with 10 people in the house, everyone was able to find their own favorite little spot. The adults spent most of the time in the little window room off of the kitchen, drinking our coffee and watching the rabbits and birds. The host left us a welcome basket with everything about Three Oaks village and the local wineries, such a nice touch. We spent one afternoon in the village, we enjoyed pizza from Patellis, whiskey from Journeyman, fresh bologna from the butcher shop, and the kids enjoyed the antique stores. We came for the dunes and beach, but Three Oaks and Mod Cottage gave us a home away from home.

Mod Cottage

My family had a great stay at the Mod Cottage in Three Oaks, Michigan. The cottage was clean, well-decorated, and located on a quiet street. It’s in walking distance to downtown Three Oaks and a short drive to wineries, New Buffalo, and Warren State Park. We highly recommend for those looking to bike, golf, and shop.

Pet friendly, brought the entire family - three boys under 10. Just as described. Kelly was easy to work with and very communicative. Huge yard , plenty of place to relax. Cozy and spacious at the same time. Would recommend.

Pleasant stay

We had a pleasant stay. A bottle of wine and a note wishing us a Happy New Year was a nice touch. Kitchen was fully equipped. Some dishes however, we’re not very clean. And, just like other reviewer/s noted, we were not fans of separate hot and cold water faucets in the downstairs bathroom. We ended up forgetting a bag in the fridge full of unopened bottles of alcohol and food. Even though it was our fault, it would have been nice if somebody had contacted us to acknowledge left items behind, that did not happen.

Weekend family wedding

The house was perfect for our family. We attended a wedding at the Journeymen Distillery which was only about a half mile from the home. It was clean, plenty of linen, pillows and space. Kelly was a quick responder to any questions throughout the process.

Very Pleasant House

My parents, my spouse and our two kids spent Thanksgiving weekend at the house. The kitchen and dining room worked out very well in preparing and enjoying our meal. The house was very comfortable and the bed rooms were great. My parents used the first floor master, our kids used the loft, our dog used the small guest bedroom upstairs 😀, and my wife and I used the larger upstairs bedroom. The house was very comfortable and cozy in the right ways. It was very easy to communicate with the host and the cute little town of Three Oaks is in easy walking distance of the house. Definitely recommend this place.

Good and Bad

First of all, the host was great. She would get back to me immediately whenever I contacted her. The property, however, was not what I would have expected. I've never stayed at a VRBO so maybe my expectations were higher than they should have been. There was no soap in the house so we had to go out and buy some. The sink in the primary bedroom and two faucets, one for hot and one for cold so there was no way to get warm water! The bed was like a rock and very uncomfortable. The sheet on the bed has a stain. All in all, it was okay, but I would not stay there again.
