The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful especially as a dog owner. Gorgeous location with Friday night kitchen open late which after many hours on the road was good! Great overall value

The Rimrock Lodge is very dated. We've stayed twice in the last year - once in the lower rooms and once in the "mountain view" second floor. Both were not sound proof. We could hear people coughing, snoring, and talking as if they were in the same room. The smoke from people smoking outside their rooms drifted into our rooms. The furniture in the lower setting needed replacement. Parking lot was full. No breakfast on two of the days we stayed this year. Obnoxious "MAGA" folks at the bar.

Poor customer appreciation

The view from the rooms over the river is nice, but everything is very outdated. The main reason for my poor review was that I was sold a room in a building where the wifi was down. Wifi was important to me so I tried to address the issue with management. It turned out there was a room in another building that had wifi, but I could only switch if I paid for another room. From my point of view, I shouldn't have been sold the room in the first place and it was clear the room didn't offer what was advertised, their move should have been to let me move to another room. If I'm spending $180 a night to stay somewhere, I expect to get what I'm paying for. If nothing can be done, I can accept that, but in this case mgmt wouldn't help me out because they were looking after their bottom line. I'm a repeat customer because I have work in thompson and I plan to stay at the riverfront for now on.

Really nice 2 day visit. The restaurant was above average with enough choices and reasonably priced. Check-in was smooth as was check-out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great with walkable trails nearby. The trail down to the river was a little steep, a little rough but manageable. Overall great place to stay!

Nice property with a great bar and restaurant for relaxing and hanging out. You can tell the lodging is dated, but it's been well cared for and recently painted. The shower head was loos and could be pulled 2 to 3 inches out of the wall, and the water pressure was a bit low. I'd stay again, it was nice and the staff was super friendly.

Cutest Cabin

We had cabin #28 and it is so cute and comfy! The bed was amazing, sorta soft and squishy but very comfy! In the picture you cant see the 2 burner stove (bring your own pots and pans, not provided), We definitely would come and stay again. The restaurant has big portions and great tasting food.

We stayed at this property for a total of 6 nights across two different weeks. The rooms were clean overall but had some insect issues (there were fruit flies and a couple of small spiders in my room). Not that big of a deal to me as the sheets and towels were clean and the water was hot. These things sometimes go with the territory. The onsite restaurant has sporadic hours and is often closed due to staffing issues. The wi-fi was working the first week until a lightning storm and then it went out. The next week when we returned, we did not have any at all and the cellular is poor at best on Verizon. While we were there, the rooms were quiet generally and the river view is nice. It's a place to crash after working in the area or perhaps passing through. Not a place I would necessarily stay as a "destination"but again, options are limited in this area.

Rooms were clean but a bit dated and musty. The outside walkways in front of the rooms needed some cleaning and I did not like the fact that they had smoking areas right outside the room doors. Nobody was outside smoking while I was there but it would have been annoying if that had happened. Staff was friendly and the view from the rooms is quite nice. Parking was easy and free. Location is close to Thompson Falls. Towels could be a little higher quality as some of them you could tell had been around for a while. They did look clean however and smelled a bit like bleach. Rooms seemed quiet and didn't get bothered by noise or other tenants. We were there for work so it was a decent place to stay to get some rest.
