The space
The defining feature of this home is the towering gable-end wall of French doors and custom windows — approximately 40 feet wide by 30 feet tall — with minimal structural framing so that the panoramic valley views pour into every level of the house. Whether you’re cooking breakfast, lounging on the sofa, or lying in bed in the loft, the Klickitat River Valley is right there with you.
The home is approximately 2,836 square feet with 3 bedrooms, a loft, and 2 bathrooms. It sleeps up to 10 guests comfortably. Those who appreciate bold architecture, natural beauty, and modern finishes will feel right at home here.
Main Level
Step inside and you’re in the open great room — the heart of the A-frame. Vaulted ceilings soar above you while the wall of windows frames the valley below. A wood stove anchors the living area and is perfect for cooler evenings. The great room flows into a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops, modern appliances, and a Keurig coffee maker (K-cups are provided for your first morning). The microwave is an undermount model with a child lock — press “Unlock” in the top right, then “Open.”
Down the hall on the first level is the 1st bedroom with a queen sized bed, walk in closet, and views to the east of the property. Across the hall is the 2nd bedroom that features four custom built twin-sized bunk beds — great for kids or groups traveling together.
Please note: the home is on a septic system. Do not put food scraps, grease, wipes (even “flushable” ones), paper towels, or cotton balls down any drain or toilet. There is no garbage disposal. A small trash can is next to the toilet for disposable items.
Second Level
The second level has a living area with a Smart TV (connect to Wi-Fi and log into your favorite streaming services), a sofa that converts into a comfortable queen-sized bed with all linens, blankets, and pillows provided. The master bedroom suite is located on the second level and features a king-sized bed, it's own full sized bathroom, and access to the large second level private deck — your front-row seat for morning coffee and evening sunsets over the valley.
Loft (Third Level)
A steep staircase leads up to the third-story loft — a cozy retreat tucked into the peak of the A-frame. The loft is an open space (no closet or door) overlooking the second-level living area below, so keep in mind that it offers limited privacy. An air mattress is available for use in the loft but is not listed as a dedicated bedroom. Enjoy the views of the Klickitat Valley from the highest point in the home.
Please use caution on the loft stairs — they are steep.
Outdoor Spaces
The large deck is one of the best features of this property. It’s the perfect spot to pour a glass of local Gorge wine, fire up the grill, and watch the sun sink behind the mountains. At night, the near-zero light pollution means you can see the Milky Way on clear evenings.
A fire pit is available — Bring Your Own Wood (firewood is available at local stores in Lyle and Bingen). A long-neck lighter is in the kitchen drawer to the right of the stove. Please check burn ban status before lighting. During Klickitat County Burn Ban Zone 2 (typically early June through mid-October), the fire pit cannot be used.
The property sits on 6.1 wooded, gated acres surrounded by oaks, pines, wildflowers, and an abundance of wildlife. Deer, wild turkey, and the occasional coyote are common visitors. You’re in nature here — always be mindful and keep a safe distance from wildlife.
Heating & Cooling
The home is heated and cooled by a Mr. Cool Mini Split system with 5 individual wall registers, each with its own remote. IMPORTANT: All registers must be set to the same mode (Heat, Cool, or Auto). Mixing modes will cause the system to malfunction. When on Auto mode, all registers have to switch from Heat or Cold together when the temperture rises or falls enough (The system works as a whole). This delay between the upper level and lower level tempertures can cause a dashed line to appear on the registers waiting for the system switch. You can override this by simply switching them all to Heat or Cool and they'll all switch without delay. Detailed instructions and troubleshooting are posted in the home.
Water & Well
The house receives water from a 500-foot deep well. The water is safe to drink. If you run water continuously for over an hour, or run multiple sources for an extended period, there is a chance the well can temporarily lose water pressure. If this happens, simply wait about 30 minutes for the system to refill and regain pressure. This is normal for well water systems.
Washer & Dryer
A washer and dryer are located in the garage and available for guest use during your stay.
Wi-Fi & Connectivity
High-speed Starlink internet is provided throughout the home. Cell signal is spotty in this area of the Gorge — we strongly recommend connecting to the Wi-Fi and using Wi-Fi calling and messaging as soon as you arrive. Download any offline maps or content you’ll need before heading out on hikes.
ROAD NOTE: Incline Dr is a private gravel road. In winter months (November–February), all-wheel drive or 4x4 is strongly recommended. Take it slow on the gravel, especially when wet or icy.

Things to Know Before You Book
We want every guest to have an amazing stay, so here are a few honest notes about the property:
• We've poured a lot of time, money, and love into this property. This property is NOT the place for those who want to party hard. We only allow up to the 10 guest count at the property. You will be expected to leave the property in the exact condition it was found. Only the approved guest count can be at the property and we have a camera set up over the parking area and entrance driveway for security purposes. If guests are found violating the rules, guests acknowledge they may forfeit their security deposit.
• The loft (third level) is an open space with no door or closet, and is accessed by steep stairs. It is not listed as a bedroom for that reason.
• Cell signal is weak at the property. High-speed Starlink Wi-Fi is provided — use Wi-Fi calling and messaging.
• The road to the property is a private gravel road. AWD or 4x4 is strongly recommended in winter.
• You may see box elder bugs (very common, non harmful bugs) on the exterior of the home (especially on the front on sunny days), inside and hiding in other places to stay warm. We have had the home treated for them, but don’t be surprised if you see these little guys crawling around the cabin. There is a vacuum if they bother you and you can vacuum them up.
• You are on well water. Extended or continuous use for over an hour can temporarily reduce water pressure. Wait 30 minutes and it will recover.
• You are in nature. Wildlife including deer, turkey, coyotes, black bears and other animals may be in the area. Keep food secured and trash bins closed.
• The wood stove and fire pit are available for guest enjoyment— use responsibly and follow the posted safety guidelines.
• A surveillance camera is installed with a view of the parking area and gravel road entrance for security purposes.
Guest access
Guests have full use of the entire home, all three levels, the deck, the grill, the fire pit, the garage (washer/dryer), and the full 6.1 acres of private land.
We built this place from the ground up because we fell in love with this land and these views. We hope you will too. If you have any questions before booking, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re happy to help.
