The Casita features a private fenced outdoor space, making it especially convenient for guests traveling with their four-legged companion.

🏡 Good to Know

The owners live on the property with their two children and two dogs. The Casita shares one wall with a private shop/home office; however, your Casita, entrance, parking area, patio, and fenced outdoor space are private.

You may occasionally see the owners or their family around the property. They are respectful of guest privacy and want you to feel comfortable and at home throughout your stay. Two robes are provided for use during your stay and must remain at the property.

🔑 Before You Book

Occupancy: Maximum of 2 adults. Infants and young children are welcome.

Rental Agreement: A signed rental agreement is required within 48 hours of booking confirmation.

Security Deposit: A $100 refundable security deposit is required for incidentals.

Pet Policy: One pre-approved dog is permitted with a $125 pet fee per stay and acceptance of our pet policy. No cats.

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM. Please be mindful of noise and respect the peaceful residential setting.

Guest Access:

The Casita at Vista Santa Lucia is located 5 minutes from Atascadero and Templeton, requires a car to get around or Uber/Lyft. Ample paved parking. We are under 15 minutes to Paso Robles wine country and minutes to local wineries in Templeton, CA.



The Neighborhood:

This property is nestled among the foothills, you have views from all around the property. We are on a private road in a rural setting with space in between the neighbors, you can hear the cows and turkeys from the neighbors! Even though you are in the peaceful surroundings of wine country, you are only 7 minutes to downtown Templeton and 5 minutes to downtown Atascadero. The Casita at Vista Santa Lucia is right off Highway 41 so if you need to get to the grocery store it will only take you minutes to get there. Within 5 miles of the property is Olea Olive oil tasting, Wild Horse Winery, Bella Luna Winery and Clesi Winery.



Getting Around:

Please use the main one way street to access the property, The Casita parking is located past the main house, you will see a propane tanka and a palm tree, there is a dirt driveway right after them with parking and access to The Casita. You can also use uber or lyft to get around the area as well.

Enjoy the peaceful feel of the countryside while staying conveniently close to everything. We’re **less than 5 minutes from Atascadero and Templeton**, about **15 minutes from many Paso Robles wineries**, **20 minutes from Cal Poly**, and **30–45 minutes from the Central Coast beaches**.



**🌿 Rural Setting**

Our country location means you may encounter local wildlife, including deer, birds, reptiles, rodents, horses, and even the occasional cow. Bugs and other critters are also part of rural living. We have regular professional pest service, but we recommend keeping doors closed and food properly stored. Please supervise children and pets outdoors.



**🐾 Dogs Welcome**

We welcome **one dog per reservation** with a **$125 non-refundable pet fee**. Sorry, no cats. The owners live on-site with two dogs, and some fencing is shared between the spaces.



**🚭 Non-Smoking Property**

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A **$300 fee** applies for violations.



**📹 Exterior Security Cameras**

For property security, exterior cameras operate 24/7. Cameras include a Ring doorbell at the front entrance, one above the garage, and two overlooking the back patio areas. There are **no interior cameras**. Tampering with cameras is prohibited.



**🚗 Parking & Visitors**

A maximum of **2 guest vehicles** is permitted due to our private one-way road. Registered guests may have up to **2 additional daytime visitors** between **8:00 AM and 10:00 PM**.



**🌙 Quiet Hours**

Quiet hours are **10:00 PM–8:00 AM**. We appreciate your help maintaining the peaceful atmosphere of the property.
