The hotel it self was lovely, the staff were very helpfull, wasn't aware we had to take bedding and towels, had to pay for sheets and towels, the self service room was disapointing, very basic, the bedding, matteress protector has some stains on it, don't want to think what, the pillows were dirty, but the sheets they supplied were clean, but it put me off having a good night sleep, you need to have a car, the hotel was out of the way, the beaches were driving distance.

Awesome place! Better than expected.
Loved it! Quality hotel, definitely would stay there again. The hotel has a beautiful pool. My room had a nice balcony, from where I enjoyed the mountain scenery. The quaint town center was about a half mile away, it had all the essentials, bank, pizzeria, bar, church etc...The hotel had a great breakfast buffet, which included protein (eggs etc...), fruit, cereal as well as pastries. I had no complaints. Only wished the wi fi was free for more than one hour per day.

Great hotel for a family, but far from the beach!
The hotel and the staff are superb but not recommended to whom only seeks a beach stay. As a matter of fact, it is advertised that the hotel has a private beach ... only forgetting to mention that the beach is 4 km away. Otherwise, very good and pleasant indeed.

Middle of Nowhere
The hotel / apartment was satisfactory but it is up a mountain and there is no restaurant within walking distance. A car is essential. The bar prices are extremely high e.g. can of coke 3.5 euro whereas supermarket price was 0.80 euro and restaurant prices in town was 2.5 euro. Staff very helpful but could have had more leaflets readily available showing local tourist attractions / boat trips. I would be happy to go back to Sardinia but would choose a location that was closer to a town.

Very Basic Accomodation
Hotel pool was great and view from pool over surrounding hills lovely BUT scrubby building work, cranes,piles of crates etc all over back area of appartment rooms. Not a view we wanted to spend any time looking at from our balcony. We were in an 'apartment room' supposedly self catering but had only a hob and NO COOKER! The room was clean but very basic the childrens beds were a bunk made from the sofa which was locked and impossible to convert back in the day time....consequently we had no sofa, only kitchen chairs to sit on. Sardinia itself was interesting and we had 2 great weeks weatherwise but the accomodation was a big disappointment

We loved our stay. Our balcony overlooked the mountains & the view & fresh air were exhilarating. On leaving the hotel the view is of the archipelgo which is breath taking. Beach is only 10 minutes away & the beautiful town of Palau is only 15 minutes away by car. Hotel was great with restaurant overlooking pool.

Definitely not a 4* Hotel
Not a bad hotel, but do not go expecting a 4-star. The rooms are extremely basic and not that well-maintained (we found a long hair in our bed on arrival; TV was broken; etc). Location is in the middle of nowhere (which was fine for us bc we had rented a car). The decor was something you'd expect to see in a hospital or care facility. On the plus side, the pool is huge and breakfast was included in the rate. We never used the pool as we drove to nearby beaches instead; however, it was well-presented (and probably the only 4-star aspect of this hotel). The staff were friendly and accomodating, but it is unfortunately not a hotel I'd recommend.
