Las Catalinas was designed like a charming old Italian village, with narrow pedestrian streets, small plazas, and buildings placed close to one another. This creates a lively atmosphere at times, especially on weekends and holidays.

If you're looking for a very secluded or isolated stay, this may not be the best fit. But if you enjoy walkable streets, beautiful architecture, and a vibrant beach-town vibe, you'll love it here.

Memory Making Stay

The casita we had was perfect for my 12 yo son and myself, giving us each a place to sleep and a nice sized kitchen and bath. The real MVP was the outdoor shower as we found ourselves in the water/sand continually and it saved our floors from being covered inside! The location is impeccable....steps away from the beach and Celeste Bar/restaurant. We heard waves crashing from bed... The entire staff was next level. We had Tony the concierge before hand helping book any adventure we wanted, including the travel to said activities. Michelle met us upon arrival and gave us a house tour as well as neighborhood, and was in contact with us to see how we were doing. Housekeeping was easy to contact, and kept us stocked up on towels as needed. The ...valet? There is a golf cart you can drop your luggage off to and they take it to your accomodations. Then they come get it at check out as requested, and even drove us to our rental car in the parking lot. They also provided a parking pass for the lot for our entire stay. Also, every tour group they aligned themselves with were the best people...we did a volcano adventure day with rafting, ziplining, and sloth tour, a 2 hour beach horseback ride, and a sunset catamaran ride with snorkeling. All amazing. Could not recommend more!

Great place in a beautiful location

Check in process was great. The team was super helpful. The cancellation restriction was intense as I missed a day due to a missed flight and there was no refund but the stay overall was great.
