Riverside Central Apartments was terrible. Do not book this apartment if you (1) want an engaged owner or (2) habitable accommodation that you can actually sleep in.
Communication: host did not respond to any messages on Expedia chat, but luckily I was able to get contact details for the owner via Expedia customer services. However, this was useless as communications with owner were terrible - messages were ignored, and only responded to once Expedia chased.
his happened on multiple occasions - and instructions were poorly provided (i.e. the code to enter the apartment was not provided by the owner).
Arrival: access information to enter the apartment was not fully provided by the owner (e.g. there are 2 lock boxes - a fob to the building and keys to the apartment, only the 1st lock box code was provided. Calls and messages to the owner were unanswered so 30 minutes was spend waiting for Expedia to chase the owner for the code to enter.
Room: after being finally granted access, the apartment smelt strongly of bleach while there were flies throughout. However, the worst part of this is that it backs onto a main highway and the windows are not fitted properly, which means noise is not sealed out and impossible to get a good night's sleep in (and when raised the owner was rude).
Overall, I would avoid this accommodation at all costs. Elsewhere there have been name changes (e.g. elsewhere this is advertised as Iren's apartments).
