Remodeled Apt. in Pedras d'El Rei overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Ria Formosa

We recently purchased this apartment and we completely reconstructed and refurbished it. It is new with 1 bedroom with a double bed, a lounge wth a sofa bed (turns into 2 single beds if necessary) a 40 inch TV set, cable TV with 65 channels, free Wifi, DVD player and various DVDs available. . The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge, oven, cooker, microwave, dishwasher machine and all the necessary kitchenware (pans, pots, cutlery, dishes, glasses, etc). The bathroom is very pleasant, new and modern. Ideal for leisure or to work from home (reliable internet).

Superb location - great little apartment

We love the area and the apartment did not disappoint. The property was exactly as described and well equipped for its size. Everything was there that we could have wanted or needed. Carlos was super helpful and provided some useful top tips. And allowed us to check out a little bit later. Which was much appreciated.

A brilliant break

A great place and excellent base for getting to know the Algarve. The apartment has everything you would need, excellently equipped and with plenty of space. It's close to the beach and the other facilities in the Pedras del Rei complex but just minutes away from the motorway or the railway line, within walking distance of the great restaurants in Santa Luzia. It comes with excellent information from Carlos to get you orientated and with suggestions to try out. We were able to settle in quickly, get to know the immediate area - walking to Tavira and back (hot but good) and over to Luz to get the train, all on back lanes to avoid the traffic - and then starting to explore further afield. We loved every minute and plan to get back there soon.

Great apartment in great location

The apartment was super clean, had absolutely everything someone needs to stay in comfort. The host was great and gave detailed information and tips about restaurants, etc. The place has a great bar where we really enjoyed. The aloteamento is pristine, the pool area great. I can only imagine how nice in the summer. Quiet and family oriented. Praia do Barril is beautiful. I would recommend to anyone.

Really Nice Property

This property was exactly as presented on the Homeaway website. Everything you need is supplied ( and some extras). The parking is a few yards from the apartment and a free parking pass is provided. There is a small train to take you to the beach (The Barril) for which passes are also supplied. The apartment is newly furnished and is very comfortable. The owner, Carlos was very courteous and texted during our stay to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and at the end of our stay asking if we'd enjoyed our holiday.

Our idea of the perfect appartment

The situation of the apartment is on the edge of the Pedras Del Rai development giving interesting views looking towards the sea, beaches and Rio Formosa. A short walk and a few narrow steps give access to the entrance. Inside, the arrangement very adequately suits two persons and everything one would want for a holiday stay is there and of good condition and quality. The apartment is extremely well equipped and nothing that we required was missing. The centre of the complex, reception, shops, cafe, restaurant and swimming pool are a ten minute walk away via a choice of routes, mostly involving climbing up and down steps with few handholds. However, the centre can be reached via a flat walking route around the edge of the complex - the longest – or a short drive to one of the car parks. However you cannot avoid the steps immediately outside the apartment. A most excellent holiday in the best and quietest part of the Algarve..

Clean, modern, and a lovely location

We spent the week after Easter in this apartment. It is really comfortable inside and well equipped with all you need to cater for yourself. The view from the dining table is spectacular and the outside table is a fantastic sun trap to catch the last of the day’s sun rays. The complex at Pedras d’El Rei has a supermarket, shop and a few eateries, with more only a short c20 mins stroll away at Santa Luzia. An then there is the short train journey (situated only a few minutes walk from Pedras d’El Rei), which takes you across the Ria Formosa to the most stunning beach of Praia de Barril, which also offers lovely beachside bars and restaurants. There is a weekday bus service that operates between Pedras d’El Rei to Tavira (via Santa Luzia) - with a journey time of 10-15 mins, and you also have the option of a taxi (c€8) each way. We walked to/from Tavira a couple of times which is c5km each way - and this can be done in less than an hour, with part of the walk taking you though the fishing village of Santa Luzia. Unfortunately, we did not manage to hire a bike but intend to do so in the future. There is a good cycle route that you can follow. Finally, the owner of the apartment, Carlos, was very friendly throughout our communications - offering a very quick response to any questions we had - and welcomed questions at any time during our stay. All-in-all, it was a very good break which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Hervorragend eingerichtetes Apartment in ausgezeichneter Lage. Der Vermieter hat vorher sehr gut über alles informiert und stand jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung. Die 24h-Rezeption und der Service innerhalb der Anlage waren ebenfalls sehr gut. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dieses Apartment buchen.

Un superbe sejour

L appartement est vraiment tres bien. Propre, super literie, espace tres bien organise et sa situation geographique permet de visiter les environs facilement. Le site Pedra Del Reis propose piscine, restau, snack, superette a des prix tres tres correctes. Il y a la plage a 1.5km avec possibilite de prendre un petit train compris dans la location, la voiture est sur un parking securise. Le village Santa Luzia est a 2km avec une belle promenade et de tres bons restaurants abordables. Nous recommandons cette location et y reviendons avec plaisirs. petit train

A casa tem todas as condições para um casal com 2 filhos. Casa remodelada e com todos os utensilios e equipamentos para umas excelentes férias. O único senão, e isso é uma preferência pessoal, é o fato de ser num 1⁰ piso, e não ter acesso direto a exterior e grelhador. Conforto e elegância

A minha estadia no aldeamento Pedras del Rei foi simplesmente inesquecível. Desde a recepção rápida até às acomodações confortáveis tudo superou as minhas expectativas. Uitstekend verblijf

Mooi verblijf, compleet en effectief ingericht. Prima voorzieningen. De park faciliteiten kunnen gebruikt worden, o.a. parkeren en treintje naar het strand. Het is wel even trappen klimmen naar het appartement en is geen mogelijkheid om buiten op een eigen terras/balkon te zitten. Mooie plek om vandaar ook de omgeving te verkennen.
