Cozy guesthouse apartment with tin roof detached and located behind beautiful 1910 home. It has the perfect location being walking distance from Armature Works,The Riverwalk, Downtown Tampa and Emily Arena. Five minutes from Historical Ybor City, Sparkman Wharf . Less than 10 minutes from Tampa Airport, Midtown, Water Street downtown, International Mall, Hyde Park Village and Raymond James Stadium. Near I-275 for quick access to Busch Gardens. The home is located on a lovely street along the Hillsborough River which is great for sunset walks. You can also rent bicycles or scooters walking distance to ride through the surrounding areas. 30 minutes from the beaches! Everything you need for a comfortable stay is nearby: Sprouts, CVS, Publix…
This unit is located on the second floor with no elevator access through stairs only. The unit has 2 queen beds , pull out sofa full bed and a futon that will sleep one. It can accommodate up to 7 if needed. The bathroom has a Jolie showerhead giving you a filtered water for your shower. There is a one bedroom studio apartment downstairs if you have a larger party and need more space that will be available for rent.

3 adults stayed for 2 nights. The unit was clean, well prepared and spacious. The 2 bedrooms and 2 beds were a good size and comfortable. The futon in the living room didn't seem too comfortable for an adult so the 3rd person slept on the couch. There is a high staircase to access the unit and the house was built in 1910 so the floors creek when walking around. The bathroom is nice, stocked with towels and washcloths and the water was always hot for a nice shower, which was great on a cold weekend. Supplies were provided for the firepit. We didn't get to use it, but the spot outside seems nice and cozy to spend time around a fire. We didn't use the kitchen too much but it had suppliesb with a full size fridge and stove. The neighborhood is nice, feels safe and is very centrally located. We were never far from anything we wanted to do in Tampa, including a Tesla charging station, restaurants and shopping. The hosts are very attentive and Maria is quick to answer messages.

Tampa near the river and everything

We picked the location as it was close to Raymond James Stadium. However we found it was within a few miles of ALL things Tampa! The owners were great and the unit was spacious, clean and comfortable! We WILL be back and hopefully soon! A GREAT place to stay!

Quiet neighborhood but close to everything

Maria’s place is in a quiet neighborhood across from the river but so close to downtown. It is walkable to Sprouts grocery store, the Riverwalk and the Armiture. Everything is thoughtfully decorated and immaculately maintained. We’d definitely stay again. Communication with Maria was excellent but not intrusive.

Great location, amazing hosts

My husband and I and some friends came for a weekend in Tampa. We wanted an area that was safe and easy to walk around downtown. This VRBO was perfect. Not only was it incredibly cute and cozy for us to hangout and watch movies, but the hosts were there to greet us, help us and give suggestions, and made short term renting what it should be - a personal touch with real host who knows their city! The area itself is very very nice, and we walked around morning and night, and took the suggestions of the hosts to check out some great places to eat and hang out. As far as the space, it was exactly as pictured, and it was quiet, easy to check in/out, and very comfortable for us. We would gladly stay with them again!

Family Gift Trip

This property was a small 2 bedroom apartment above the garage behind the owners home. The property has comfy beds, a stocked kitchen area and one full stocked bathroom with hot water. The furniture is an older style and only one bedroom has a television. When we arrived it was very late but the homeowner was very friendly and helpful even at the late hour. We had weather issues with our return home flight and had to leave in the middle of the night for a new flight to beat the stormy conditions. The homeowner was very responsive about our situation and suggested that we could skip the check out cleaning list since we had to leave so early. Unfortunately we did not get to see the area due to our early departure.
