There’s no staff on site. To check in, you must call from the phone at the front desk then wait for the staff person to check you in. We also booked a room with a ‘balcony’ yet the windows were all sealed shut “because of the noise outside”

Perfect!

Everything was perfect! The staff is very nice, the rooms and bathroom/shower are incredibly clean, and the beds/rooms are comfortable. I would recommend you stay here. I would book this room again if I ever came back. Best experience in Taipei.

Location location location

Bed was smaller than a queen size bed. We wanted to request for a triple room but it was already occupied. For 2 adults and 1 infant I'll definitely recommend to book a triple room. Besides, the cleaner came to clean our room on the 2nd day only (3d2n stay) and the toiletries weren't top up. Have to call for check in when arrive using their phone. No one was at the counter all time. The only good thing is location. It was near to mrt and ximending.

5 mins walk from Ximending station exit 4

Ok for short stay. Take escalator to 2nd floor then lift at East side of building to 3rd floor to reach hotel. Lobby not manned at all times, call to check in. Leave room key in box at lobby when check out. Luggage holding at Oxygen Hostel abt 2 minutes walk away. Tv was not working during my stay.

Good for a short stay

It's a relatively good location, not too far from me Ximen metro station. It is indeed not quite convenient to take 2 trips of escalator and elevator if you have heavy luggages. Never seen anyone sittings at the check-in desk (I guess coz i leave my room at 8:30am and back late) but easy to reach someone via the pione on the counter. Room is relatively clean (even there's a hair stuck in the bathroom mat), but the bed and pillows are wayyy too soft. Can't hear much traffic even it is next to a rather busy road.

Nice budget hotel for a quick stop

I enjoy my stay here. The hotel is in a business building on 3rd floor east side. The location is great. Take exit 4 at Ximen subway station then go straight about 3-4 blocks. There are lots of restaurant and shops nearby. Walkable distance to Ximendin. Not alway someone on duty at reception but you can call the number provided next to phone and let them know what you need. The housekeepers are very nice and always around to offer help. The bed is comfortable. The only complaint is the noise of moving chairs on the weekend since there is a tutor school upstairs.

Why we would not stay again

Likes: great staff and very good service! They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Dislikes and why we would not come back: 1) breakfast is included only offered through the Subway store next to the hotel. We got little food for breakfast, but the service at Subway was extremely poor. The gentleman and the lady who worked their shifts on the mornings of May 27 and 28 really to be retrained to serve customers, including how not to be rude to customers. The experience at the Subway ruined our impression about the hotel and even about service in Taipei... 2) The hotel rooms were right beneath a busy training center with students come in and out until very late in the evening. We heard the traffic right above our heads. 3) The building does not allow smoking inside, however it does not stop the heavy cigarette smell come through the vent in the washroom.

Ok, but pls don't expect much.

The location is good. However, the room is very small. It says its a window room but in reality the window is in the bathroom facing the flat roof. very noisy outside due to the air con motor running at the flat roof. we had to suffer with noise if we wanted to have fresh air.

Great bed, but kind of a prison cell.

Almost no rooms have windows in this Hotel. I was lucky and got a tiny window in the bathroom looking outside. No business center, i needed to print documents and was told to email them to the front desk. No free breakfast as advertised, i was told to go to 7-11? No refunds, we had to cancel one night they would not refund either would hotels.com.

The location is within 5 mins walk to Ximending. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast only serve at 8am which is kind of late when you need to leave earlier for sight seeing. The room is very small. not much of walking space when opening up the luggage. so far my stay is pleasant.
