Smoke smell, horrible service, Not even a one star

1. Service is horrible. Very Rude front desk. When i told them the phone in our room does not work, they don't replace it until we were almost checked out of the hotel (our last day). 2. When I arrived to checked in, i need to pay for the whole stay. Usually you pay when you checked out, in this hotel, you need to pay when you checked in. 3. The rooms and the hotel has heavy cigarette smells. We were shown multiple rooms, and every single rooms has heavy cigarette smells, even though the hotel has a non-smoking policy for the whole hotels. 4. Room is dirty and carpet smells filthy. i have dust mites allergy. As soon as I entered the room, I cannot breath. 5. TV in our room does not work 6. Breakfast is so so. The food are not hot. Choices are very limited. 7. When I tried to borrow the wheelchair for my mom, they told us the wheelchair is only to be used inside the hotel and requires a 2000 NT deposit, and not to be taken outside. I have stayed in many other hotels, and they allow us to borrow wheelchair to be used outside of the hotel and without any deposits. Overall, it was a horrible stay and will not recommend to anyone. I won't ever go back to this hotel. I would rate this hotel a minus 5.

Enjoy staying in Capitol Hotel NanJing! Hotel services are great and the bed is comfortable. Access to places around are easy and convenient with Metro, Buses and Taxi to chose from.

Convenient but not clean

we stayed for one night only but will not return. Apart from location and friendly staffa at reception, the overall of the property is poor. Breakfast is below standard and staff at the restaurant is rude. Room was very ordinary and not that clean. Pillows and sheet has marks and turned yellow.

Second stay

This is our second time stay at this hotel when we visit Taiwan. I was surprised to learn that they have the same hotel name as the other one across the street in the beginning, but the facilities and guest service are still excellent from my last stay. I would definitely book this hotel again for my next visit.

Location of the hotel - convenient

I am relatively disappointed with the Wifi network. Unable to connect most of the time. Other than that, the hotel facilities and cleanliness are acceptable. Hotel staff in general are courteous except for the one that received me when I checked in, not so friendly. I have stayed in Songshan branch before, the facilities of the hotel there are better. I will not consider Capital Hotel Nanjing in my next trip.

There is no heating in this hotel.

Great little hotel!

The Capital Hotel Nanjing is a surprisingly good hotel. The room was good sized, clean, and tidy. Got 2 bottled waters and complementry fruit every day. The wifi access was good. Staff was friendly. Good breakfast buffet selection with the sausages in water being the only non-preferred item. It provides excellent value.

Be better when Metro opens

Thought it was close to a metro - Taipei Arena - but not yet open. Still cabs in Taipei are cheap. Hotel clean, tidy and pleasant helpful staff especially as I needed local A & E. Breakfast was nothing special but ok. Mostly Chinese in content but toast, cereals and fruit available.
