Little Tarrel Castle is a three‑storey historic property set within peaceful private grounds just outside Portmahomack. This fully furnished castle offers a country‑style kitchen, dining room, and cosy snug on the ground floor, with two spacious bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a bright first‑floor lounge above. The top floor features a charming third bedroom with its own en‑suite, creating a beautifully private retreat.

Little Tarrel Castle sits approximately 2.5 miles outside the charming village of Portmahomack. Access is via a shared private road leading from the B9165 up to the castle, where a secure, gated parking area is available exclusively for guest use throughout your stay.
Guests have full access to the entire castle, and there are no shared spaces — the property is completely private for your party. The grounds include a grassed garden, ideal for children to play and perfect for pets to enjoy. The garden area is not fully enclosed.
Please note that, due to the rural setting, there is no street lighting in the surrounding area. However, the castle is equipped with an outdoor light that can be left on for your convenience for the duration of your stay.
