Summary: Stunning, serene, eye popping views of Lake Tahoe! This newly remodeled condo and outdoor dining patio sits merely 30 feet from the lake’s edge. Meet mountain modern, filled with natural light, new custom natural wood floors and cabinets, natural stone slab countertops and shower walls, new floors and extra soft plush carpeting, built in closets, and new lighting throughout.
The Space: The first floor is an “open floorplan" to maximize views of the lake from everywhere. The kitchen has all new stainless appliances, pretty stone slab counters atop beige maple cabinets. The dining area provides excellent views from the custom "live edge" dining table. The living room features a 76” big screen TV, soft swivel chairs, a big comfy couch and chaise lounge, and a wood burning wood stove. Enjoy many meals and sunbathing from the outdoor patio and lakeside lawn. The patio has a brand new Weber grill, and awesome views of the lake, mountains, and the many charming ducks, geese, eagles, ospreys and fish that cruise along the shoreline only 30 feet from the patio! The primary bedroom king bed has terrific lake views from the bed! The lakefront 2nd bedroom offers lake views from the queen bed, hosting a gorgeous carved cedar wood headboard. The third bedroom is a queen with a twin bunk bed, with built in closet. The fourth bedroom offers two more bunk beds, perfect for the kiddos. These beds are built-in, crafted in knotty alder wood (2 regular twin beds and 2 extra long twin beds). The spacious bathrooms glow with natural light, custom stone counters, "washed oak" cabinets, back-lit mirrors, and your feet will love the warm, heated the bathroom floors!
Guest Access: The home also has 2 stand up paddle boards, and a very comfortable 2 person kayak, and 2 mountain bikes for your use.
The Neighborhood: Tavern Shores is one of the most beautiful settings in Lake Tahoe. Surrounded on both sides by 2 federal parks makes for extra natural beauty and much privacy. Tavern Shores' layout consists of spacious green lawns under towering pines, and only 50 condominiums, spread out in low, 2 story buildings creating large open spaces and a quiet ambiance. There is a beautiful pier, buoys for your boat, a sandy beach, sand volleyball court, a heated pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a picnic area with outdoor grills, and walkways for bike riding. Tavern Shores faces toward the East, creating views of famous Mt Rose and the 11,000’ peaks of Heavenly Mountain. Mornings are warmed by the sun rising over the mountains on the East side of Lake Tahoe. Afternoons and evenings are typically calm and serene as the sun sets behind Tavern Shores to the West, creating famous “alpen glow” colors on the mountains we gaze at on the East side of the Lake. Nearby activities include shopping, fun restaurants, boating of all types, bicycling, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, rafting, camping, etc.
