Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The first floor bedroom had mold coming out of the air vent in the ceiling. No closet or mirror. Pool was not clean and tree branches falling on lounges chairs. The thermostat on second floor was set on 65 and after reset it kept going back to 65 to cold.Would not rent again.

Perfect location in Surfside! Everything within walking distance!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing week during our stay here. The home was clean and just what we needed for 2 families sharing the home. I love the floor plan with 1 master on the main floor and 2 other king masters on the 2nd floor and then 2 bedrooms that are set up in a Jack n Jill style with a shared bathroom in between...this worked for our 2 teenage boys. All rooms are spacious. We loved the closeness to restaurants one block away and the beach just a few steps from the front door. We rented bikes for the week and enjoyed morning bike rides. We did have an issue with downstairs tub being clogged and not draining well. Management sent someone out right away and it was fixed! And the gentleman who came to fix it was extremely kind and helpful. We will return! Thank you!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was beautiful, ocean view and directly across from beach access. Only drawback was tv in front bedroom was too small. Had one inconvenience when we arrived. Front bedroom sink had note to not use waiting on part which was fine. While we were unloading our cars repairman arrived to fix sink. Very nice gentleman, even brought up some groceries for us. He had 3 sinks to work on taking him from about 6-8:30 to complete. We just sat around waiting to unpack and go to dinner. Other than that vacation was wonderfull! Definitely will rent this house again when we vacation again.

We have stayed here a couple years ago and we love the location!! But we thought there would be more updates to the property. It needs it badly. It is clean, rooms are clean, however the pool needs major repairs the decking and fencing needs repair and for the price you pay these should be in perfect condition. I cannot say we would stay again. Again the property management company were excellent to work with. Please put some money into this perfect location property.

Fun despite the weather!

Reviewer Comments: Our beach week was unusual with abnormal cloudy skies and cooler temps but we were able to enjoy the beach every day with our extended family. The house was suitable for our family of 9. I would say that bedroom arrangement was little odd in that the bunk bed room (for the grands) had a private bath. The two queen sized beds were in adjoining bedrooms that shared a bath. That meant adults sharing a bath and children having their own. The kitchen was well equipped and the location near the pier and across from beach access was very convenient. Garden Center Realty was helpful when the hot tub was not available (broken). They made sure we received a refund on out rental due to that. Definitely will use them again from beach rentals!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fabulous time at Off the Hook! Location was great for our two little grandkids- close to beach. We also like that their were restaurants within walking distance. Everything was clean and updated. We always had access to someone if needed. We will certainly be returning to Surfside. My only suggestions would be more hand towels in bathroom, and we were surprised we had to run out & get salt, pepper & basic dry spices for just the weekend. (We left some there!) Thank you again for our stay!

Fantastic Location

Reviewer Comments: This really is a great location and the house was spacious and had everything we needed, however there were areas that were not that clean and the sofa was disgustingly dirty. Garden City was very responsive to our issues. (except the cleanliness) We walked in to a broken table which was fixed, the broken lawn chair was removed and a plugged sink was fixed in a timely manner. There were also a few roaches that were seen upstairs. The hot tub did not appear to be cleaned when we got there. With that said we would consider staying again but are looking into other options first.

We normally book oceanfront homes end of July, beginning of August, but this looked really good:and was. Access to the beach right across the street made for an easy walk to the ocean. With 4+ restaurants within 2 minutes walk, made for a nice selection of dining and or drinks. Would definitely book again!

Vacation in Surfside

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location. Walking distance to five great restaurants. Check in procedure was a total failure on their part. The people on the phone lines and the people sending emails and the people doing the checking in are not all on the same page. Our dryer quit working and was not fixed while we were there, didn’t seem like we were important to the maintenance people at all. Loved the location. Loved the time with family there. It is a beautiful house, needs some things fixed but we had a great time there.

Also very close to beach access. The only negative I will say is the pool and hot tub could have been vacuumed better or maybe more often during the week.
