The wood laminate flooring throughout entire property needed a serious mopping! Our feet were black on the bottom from walking around inside. The refrigerator was leaking water all over the floor. Grass outside had trash on it., needed a serious racking. Location was good snd convient. But unit needs some goodxattention.

Wonderful property!

This property is spacious and so conveniently located! We were only a few steps from the beach, and there is access on either end of the street. We had plenty of room for everyone. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Surfside.

Great place, know what you're getting

I thought this was a great property. The place was clean - but still needs some work. You could tell that the property owners just took possession and were trying to bring it up to snuff. The biggest piece that people need to keep in mind is that you do not get both levels. The VRBO ad paints the picture that when you rent the unit, you're renting the entire unit, both levels and this is not the case. That said, each floor is very spacious, the bedrooms are quite nice, and the main living space is very spacious. I would definitely recommend the 3rd floor unit as this catches the breeze from the ocean beautifully. I am sure that as the owners continue to fix the items in the unit and modernize it (such as fixing the refrigerator so that it makes ice and water) it will become an even better rental than it already is.

surfside experience

Overall we enjoyed the stay. Beautiful views. I would recommend to move the key pad to the beach side for B since you park on that side. Also we ended up buying 3 beach chairs because there was only1 beach chairs down there. The 3 green chairs are like ballgame chairs. We will look forward to staying again here. Thankyou

I enjoyed staying in the Surfside Beach area, but the listing led me to believe I was paying for oceanfront. Instead the property was located with a side ocean view (barely). Also, the hot water was warm at best in the house.
