Pool was gorgeous. Everything was as described except I couldn't help but feel like although everything 'looked' right, fixtures and fittings were a bit low in quality. Eg bathroom door didn't close, nowhere to hang towels for 2 guests (other than one towel rail for one towel), no slippers, worn/tired toiletries in the bathroom, bedding wasn't very comfortable and no pillow menu. With that said, the overall ambience and aesthetic is nice - it's just when you really look at things you notice these smaller things. I'll finish where I started - the pool is gorgeous. Plenty of space on daybeds and sufficient shade for a poolside hang. I would come back at the right price.

From the moment I arrived to the time of leaving 'Essence', my time here was extremely enjoyable and comfortable! 🥰 Room 113 provided everything I needed: a very comfortable bed and pillow (for my personal preference); spacious room and bathroom with large shower; coffee machine; Smeg kettle; a well-stocked mini-bar with good quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and a snacks hamper (for items to be purchased). 😊 There was also a large television, sofa, round table with two chairs and a balcony with an 'egg' swinging chair, which had a lovely, greenery outlook from inside the room. However, this room was positioned near the property's gated entrance of their carpark. The room and facilities were extremely clean and well maintained and I loved the luxurious ambience of the room and of the overall property. 😍 Also, there is acres of bush and nature right on the other side of this property's boundaries! However, the most impressive part of my stay at Essence On Peregian Beach was the service provided! All the reception attendants and staff were exceptional! Every request was fulfilled obligingly and always with a smile! Thank you for making my stay extremely memorable, enjoyable and very comfortable!!! 🙏 Did I mention the magnesium pools? There are two small pools, one with a bar for your enjoyment! Perfect!!! ☺️ IGA, a pharmacy, bottle shop and a superb cafe 'Outer Square' are just a moment's stroll from Essence for your convenience!!! Thank you! 😍

We paid extra for a room with a view but there was no view. The drains smelled so bad it was like someone had done a number 2 in the bathroom and left it for us which made it hard to sleep.

Gear accommodation with great facilities. The service was good. Location was excellent with walkable beach and shopping options. Didn't really get the afternoon turn down, also the cooling system was finicky at times. All bar items were excessive in pricing and there wasn't a smoking area anywhere. Service could have been better but could be worse too. Overall a Good place.

A wonderful stay - just wish it had been longer. The 2 bedroom apartment was brilliant - spacious, well equipped and great bathrooms. The staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. The pool area is great and the bar an extra attraction. Could not recommend it more highly

Lovely location but just missing something

There are no wardrobes to hang clothes so if you are a couple with no kids and only wanting a single room be prepared to have suit cases and clothes spread over your room if you are staying more than a wekend And not enough seating around pool with 50 appartments and 7 lounges around pool

This place is amazing and I have already started recommending it to everyone I know. The staff are super helpful and nice. The area is a perfect location, close to so many nice restaurants and cafes, and a short walk to an amazing beach. The rooms are gorgeous and so comfortable. The only reason I would rate this place 4 out of 5 is because I feel it could have some more on site amenities like a tennis court, spa and steam room/sauna. The main bar pool is gorgeous but I feel other amenities would really suit this place. I would definitely stay here again! Absolutely loved it!
