This property was in a great location in Sulmona Italy. The room was fantastic! Breakfast excellent with a choice of a traditional Italian breakfast (coffee, fruit, danish and juice) or eggs, ham, coffee, juice and fruit. We stayed at Stella Casa Bono while we looked around at areas in Abruzzo for a possible holiday house. The staff was so friendly and so helpful. We stayed in the junior suite with the balcony, clean, comfortable, and easy to get around the historic area of Sulmona. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and lots of help while we were there. I would strongly recommend this bed-and-breakfast.

A perfect family-owned hotel

Our two-night stay in Sulmona could not have been better. This six-room hotel, run by two brothers, is modern, clean, convenient to the center, and comfortable (great bed). Breakfast will fit any diet. Heat is more than ample. We asked them to recommend a driver to could take us into the mountains for c. 4 hours, and one of the brothers volunteered for a very fair price. Recommended without qualification.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was nicely appointed, with a charming view of the ancient street. The breakfast buffet was ample, with a wide variety of delicious food. Great place to spend a few days to experience a lovely historical town "off the beaten track". Perfect location. Owner managers were extremely helpful - I had a problem with my iPad - offered to take me to repair shop but I had commitment so offered to do so for me - no charge. Very comfortable room.
