Beautiful

The house was just as shown in the pictures! Beautiful and the river was great to sit by in the morning and watch the deer with my coffee. House has all the amenities you could need plus more! Trout in the river also!

Peace and Quiet

Property was well maintained, and all was in working order.All three of us were comfortable, and I cannot express how happy we were with the sitting area by the water. We had lovely firepit fires, and the youngest of us spent many hours fishing. We were all struck by the sense of solitude, and never heard another human voice. Cooking stir-fry on the grill was certainly a highlight.A good time was had by all!

Wonderful

Just wonderful. 45th year anniversary. It was a great cabin and comfortable and cozy. Everything we needed was there. Fireplace, beautiful river, comfortable bed, kitchen was great, just all around a great time. Thanks so much. Hope to be able to come again

Great 48th anniversary get away

The wife and I had to get away for a few days from kids(still at home!), so I booked the Roost on the Toccoa River. Great place. The hot tub was great, clean and perfect, looking at the river from the tub. The kitchen was great, the living room was great (they had a lit Christmas tree). That night, while sipping wine, in the king bed, looking out the window, facing river, it started snowing.What can i say!!

Enjoyable

Property was nice and just as it was listed. Was a little disappointed they were so strict on the check in time of 4pm. We had traveled 4 1/2 hrs with a dog to get to the property. We were to get there around 3:30 and hoped to just wait outside until the 4pm check in time. Was told we could not go to the property until 4pm. We also had to haul in our own firwood, the property does not provide. It was a nice place, but missed the small details other properties we stayed at, have offered us. Glad we went, but will not return.

Peaceful stay

Cozy mountain cabin on the river. Beautiful views.🍁 Enjoyed quiet mornings on the porch watching deer in the woods across the river. Great trout fishing! Close to several beautiful hiking trails. Gorgeous area! Would love to visit again.

A Hidden Gem

If you’re looking for a chance to escape the city you found the perfect place. This beautiful property truly is the best place to visit. If I could have I would have stayed longer.

Typical cabin setting but dark

At first glance online, the property looks beautiful. But a lot of storm damage trees down around the property. Photos online give the impression that inside the cabin is very bright and airy but it’s actually quite dark inside. We were surprised that they had the yard maintenance performed while we were On the property. Also, if you are coming for the fishing at this location, most of the section of the river is fished out. Nothing much more than minnow size trout. Though our stay was pleasant enough, the online our expectations were higher.

Peace on the River

We absolutely LOVED staying here! We had our Son and his family with us! All of us enjoyed every minute and didn't want to come home! From fishing, swimming, kayaking, tubing, grilling out, getting in the hot tub, etc. What a fantastic place and communication was exceptional the entire time leading up to the trip as well as while we were there. Highly recommend this home! We will be back!

Summer Heat Relief

So relaxing and simple, but every detail covered

This semi-private nest for the weekend made for such a great birthday weekend for my husband. Loved being right on the river, loved that the hot tub worked, comfortable beds and wood was stocked for an outdoor fire! This stay was top tier!
