Welcome to Snug Life, a cozy 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom cabin on the peaceful shores of Lake Michigan in Sturgeon Bay. Recently renovated, this cabin offers a unique and comfortable interior design perfect for a serene and restful getaway.

Wake up to the sound of the waves and spend your days exploring the lake, hiking, and taking in the natural beauty of the area.



The Space:

Snug Life is a one-of-a-kind cabin, purchased by owners Dana and Adam in the summer of 2020 and recently renovated with a unique blend of high-end finishes and one-of-a-kind thrift store finds. The cabin seamlessly blends rustic and modern elements for an unparalleled experience. The owners have put a lot of thought and care into the design and decor of the space, making it truly special and unique.



Enjoy the fast wifi, full kitchen, and TV with Roku for streaming services. The cabin also features a record player for a touch of nostalgia and a wood fired barrel sauna for ultimate relaxation. Unwind in the evening in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine and plan your next adventure around the peninsula.



The home is heated, however does not have air conditioning. Due to the location on the shores of Lake Michigan, it rarely gets hot enough for this to affect guest comfort. We have been sure to provide plenty of fans to keep you comfortable during your stay.



Guest Access:

You'll have access to the entire cabin, wood-barrel sauna, lakefront and property grounds.

The cabin is just a 10-minute drive from downtown Sturgeon Bay and a short drive from the rest of the Door Peninsula. This location is perfect for guests seeking a restful getaway, with easy access to the lake, hiking, and all the natural beauty of the area.

As the hosts and managers of this home through our company, DoCo Vacations, we take a unique approach to hosting. Our goal is to maintain professional standards while still providing a personal touch. We pride ourselves on delivering a clean and fully furnished rental property and making sure our guests have all the necessary supplies. The cozy linens we provide are professionally laundered by our staff.



We have a small team that helps us take care of all the details at our properties, but we are not a large rental management company that has lost the personal connection with our guests. We strive to provide the best of both worlds: professional service with a personal touch.

We loved the beautiful view of Lake Michigan. The unit itself was very clean. The Sauna was a great touch and we were able to grill some steaks one evening which we enjoyed. Everyone said they would be open to coming back someday in the future. Downsides was the holding tank being full, but that happens and it was addressed immediately and a pump was there the next morning. We could not get the fireplace to light in the living room, it wasn't needed but would have been a nice touch in the evenings. One of the people staying has a fireplace just like it but still no luck. Lastly we weren't impressed, if we are honest, with the "if its yellow let it mellow" signs. No one really wants to walk into the bathroom to that. Perhaps I would suggest a toilet flush valve that does two flushes liquids and solids. This would be a little more professional. But just some honest feedback. We loved it overall and would highly recommend it as a great place to stay!

Perfect cottage for a getaway from a busy life! Ideal location and scenic views. Ten stars for the starry nights, and the gorgeous sunrises on the beach. Great communication from the management team. Easy access to the cottage, very clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend!

Perfect spot for a quick getaway

I usually don’t write reviews or rent a house with no reviews but so glad I did. I was on a little solo trip, and couldn’t have been happier with this place, felt very cozy there. So much so I almost didn’t go hiking. It’s a great neighborhood and location. The deck is amazing I could have sat out there all day watching the eagles and listening to the waves. Wish I could have stayed another day.. Will definitely be back.
