The mattress cover was in absolutely filthy disgusting state had staff take away, fan in room covered in dust, bits on floor all week not removed. On the app it stated that there was a restaurant for evening meals, not true needed to go elsewhere. Stated there was electric vehicle charging points they were fitted to wall but not connected up, eventually informed could use Fishers hotel points if they were available

Avoid, overpriced and poor quality Dreadful. When I was staying at this hotel I saw an advert for it on TV. The advert was nothing like my experience. I stayed here for one night at the end of the Rob Roy Way. I was looking for a bit of luxury to celebrate my achievement. It started well with reception, which is modern and colourful. However, my single room was dreadful. I will start with what was good, the bed was comfortable and was a bit bigger than a regular single. The rest was not good. There was no room for a bedside cabinet next to the bed. The TV didn't work (although that was mended). The room was chilly but when the heating came on the shower rail was almost too hot to touch. The desk was chipped and water stained. There was no where to put a suitcase so I had to move everything off the desk to put it on there. The view from the window was of the breakfast room below and I watched the staff smoking and vaping in the back courtyard area throughout breakfast service. The hotel does have a pool, but it needs cleaning. There was a lot of silt on the floor of the deep end. This would have been a one star review but the staff were friendly. The hotel was expensive and very poor quality.

Hotel is in a great location with lovely views and is a walkable distance to the theatre. It's a bit tired in places but undergoing renovation and wiĺl be beautiful once finished. Breakfast was amazing with a great choice. Staff all really friendly and helpful, allowing us to drop off bags prior to check-in. Overall a great stay.

Friendly and relaxing

Room was clean,staff was very friendly and helpful. The spa staff were also friendly and the whole experience was very relaxing. Breakfast was okay was missing square sausage to call it full scottish but apart from that it was a nice and relaxing stay .

The hotel was adequate but does require some upgrading as looks a little tired. Beds were comfortable and rooms fairly quiet. I had intended to use the spa facilities however the pool and jacuzzi were directly visible from the bar with only a glass wall separating them so decided against it. The reception and bar seemed to be combined and it seemed a lot of the public areas were not being utilised so may be they are working on revamping the place Plenty choice available ar breakfast all self service but did feel a bit busy and cramped Overall it met our needs and was quiet and comfortable in a good location just off the main street

The hotel and staff were lovely from start to finish. Loved the pool, fantastic breakfast. The only negative was the shower and bath. The shower took ages to get warm, and the bath was not draining away the water. I did mention it to reception incase there was a blockage
